A Boat Ride to The Baberian Island...
You all know that I was in Beruwala area few days ago.This article is about the boat ride that we had.We had a boat ride to Baberian Island in Beruwala.
What is this Baberian Island?
Baberian island is a little island about 9.00 acres long.This was built in 1889.Height of the tower is about 112 feets.Now this tower is under Sri-Lankan Ports Authority.Most importantly this is the one of the four international light house in Sri-Lanka.
Going on a boat ride to the Baberian Island was not on our plans.We decided only to enjoy in the Confifi beach.When we are getting ready to enjoy in the beach a boat rider came to us.He told us that the Baberian Island is a beautiful place and there is a natural swimming pool to enjoy.So now my girlfriend got so mad to enjoy there😀.So unexpectedly we decided to join on a boat ride to the Baberian Island.
The Baberian Island is situated 3km's away from confifi beach.So they are not giving free rides.They told us it cost R.S.3000 for the ride.That was a fair price.At about 11.00 a.m. we started the boat ride.
As you can see the sea tides are so rough.And also it is so sunny that day.
In this video the place that use to park the boats is the swimming pool area.It is not a deep one even a little boy can swim in there.
Now we are in the Baberian Island.Wow it is so nice.As usual it is so hot.There are lot of trees so we didn't feel that much of heat.We started to walk through the light house.It is so beautiful.There were few people in the island.Infortunatly we were unable to climb up the light house because they told us that they are painting inside the light house.

wow this must be very interesting. I can't imagine how beautiful the place is. very rarely I see in such a small island have a natural swimming pool. you must be very happy
