SL-Charity Phase II | House Renovation Project – Charity Proposal | 15% For SL-Charity
Steem Sri Lanka Community is currently working on the second phase of SL-Charity after successfully completing the first phase. The biggest obstacle to this is the situation in the country. Travel restrictions have already been imposed in the country due to Covid-19. However, even in such a situation, arrangements are made to make a financial contribution for those who need help without physical involvement.
With the strong support of Steem Sri Lanka Community members, several charities in the second phase have already been completed.

Background
This is a friend of mine who is studying in the Faculty of Management & Finance at the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. He has another sister who is studying at the University of Colombo. Both of them are very good at studying. But this family is not strong financially.
These are photos of the condition of their house today.
Due to the inclement weather a few days ago, a large tree fell on their house and caused severe damage to the house. And because of their financial difficulties, they are in a bad situation right now. Therefore, all the members of the community decided to support them financially to renovate their house to some extent.
It is a great pleasure to be able to help them in this way. Thank you to all of you who contributed to the fund and strengthened it.

Yes. They will have to stay temporarily in another place until the house is rebuilt.

It's difficult to even see. Sometimes we have to suffer the consequences of nature. I think this is one such opportunity. However, due to the talents of the two students studying at the university, the patronage shown by the people on the Sri Lankan steemite platform is excellent for their life journey in such a situation.
