SL Charity Phase 3 - Project Anuradhapura Successfully Completed 💖 | 10% For SL-Charity

Hello Everyone!

Today, I will write about something we have been looking forward to doing for a long time. We all know that SL Charity Phase III is currently operational. We have already been able to help many people under this. So we have been planning to do a charity event in Anuradhapura for some time now and we were able to finish it successfully yesterday. We wanted to select a few economically disadvantaged families for this. We thought we'd give them dry food, books and stationery because every family we chose had school-age children. We went the day before yesterday evening and bought everything we needed and packed them.

Having prepared all that, Praveen and I left yesterday afternoon to distribute these to those families. Two families, we selected lived in the Luulnewa area. My friend's father came with us because guide us. He was the one who found those families for us.

Mother, father, and child live in the first house we visited. That child is studying in grade 2. Those parents are mentally ill and have no source of income. We also heard that they help out by giving them the rice and vegetables they need from the neighbouring houses. We gave them a big bag of dry food that we took with us. That father had no idea why we were there. I gave the gift to that child and he was very happy with it. They are really innocent people.

We left there and went to the other house a little further away. The road leading to that house was also covered with jungle. An aunt was waiting for us near the main road and she was the mother of that house. The road ended in a house made of clay. They have three children living in that house. Children were not at home when we go there. Those parents also do not have jobs with the pandemic. They told us that we have done a valuable thing by doing this and they thanked us a lot. We both realized that what was given at that moment was really valuable to them.

After we thanked my friend's dad who came to help us and we left to come back. And we went to a house and there a younger boy lives with his parents and little sister. We went there unexpectedly. With this Corona epidemic, his father lost his job. So they were very happy to receive these things at an unexpected time.

A grandmother, two children and their father lived in the house we last visited. The grandmother takes care of the family because the children's father is not well. Unfortunately, when we went there, the grandmother was not at home. So we handed the things to the children over.

When we arrived, everyone had a smile on their face. This Corona epidemic has caused a very difficult time for everyone. However, I am really happy to help them in any way. We were able to give great joy to those innocent hearts. This is how we were able to complete this task successfully. With a little contribution, we can do great things. I would like to thank all those who contributed to this good deed.
