1 Year Anniversary Celebration 🎉 | 5% For SL- Charity

In the last few days, the most repeated word was 'anniversary'. One year has passed since the launch of the Steam Sri Lanka Community on September 12th. So, the day is super special for every member of the community. Due to the pandemic situation, no one can gather to celebrate the day. But there should be something unforgettable. That's why the idea of a virtual gathering came up. Everyone was waiting for the DAY impatiently. The meeting was scheduled yesterday at 9 p.m. 🙊

The moment that everyone was looking forward to coming. Yesterday was special for me too because it was the very first meeting I joined with them. Almost every member of the SSL joined the celebration. The most memorable part was the cake cutting. There was a beautiful cake made by @rasinkani. It looked so delicious but sadly no one could taste it. 🥺

Another special thing happened when @maulidar, a foreign friend of the community, joined us. She didn't understand our language but I saw, she was with us until the end. It was so nice of her. 😍 This time everyone had to turn on the cameras and it was my first time seeing that every writing face. So, everyone had a little chit chat. Everyone else talking but the only thing I did was smiling. 😬

That's how we celebrated the 1st anniversary of Steem Sri Lanka. It was such a great time. I enjoyed it a lot that I didn't want the meeting to end. Everything was so beautiful. Cheers to many more years of togetherness! 🥂 And I hope to talk with everyone in the next one. 🌚
