Monthly Review - Steemit Sri Lanka Community
Introduction
Before two months ago, we announced our Steem Sri Lanka community to gather all Sri Lankan members into one place. Before the commencement of the community, we all gathered around the #srilanka tag and now we have our own community for our members. In the beginning our intention was to gather our members only. But at the current moment, we have got attention from the whole world as a growing community that tries to help every Steemit user as we can. Through this review, we will recall what we did as a community throughout the past month.
- Growth Of The Community
This was taken before one month and we had only 109 subscribers at that moment. But at the moment we have 220 subscribers to our community. And also for the first time, we have 1000$+ pending rewards, and thank you @steemcurator01 for your support to the community. And also we are happy to say that we could increase up to 131 active posters.
- Establishing A Curator Account For the Community
Curator account is a big step for the success of Steem Sri Lanka Community. We could get support from delegators and could increase the Effective power to 15.5K SP. Within our first 4 weeks, we could generate 493 upvotes with 24 posts in the curator account. We hope to support all the Sri Lankan members and the active members from other countries also.
- Winning moments of Community Members
From the recent updates from steemitblog, we heard the winners' announcement of Diary Game Season 2. There were 3 Sri Lankan winners from the individual contest of the Diary Game Season 2. And as the special case steemceylon team won first place from Diary game phase 2 as the team winners. We would take this opportunity to congratulate all our Sri Lankan winners of Diary Game Season 2.
- Steem Sri Lanka Contest Series
This project is launched to give the opportunity to any member from Sri Lanka to host a contest. The aim is to give opportunities for all Sri Lankan members to organize their own dream contests and to bring the attention of our community to the whole world. We have already published a summary of our contest series progress and you can have an idea from there also. We will continue the Contest series Round 2 with new concepts.
What Come Next
We hope to bring a new project to attract more users to our community in near future. So stay tuned with us.

Hi, We currently our contest series has passed 7 weeks and about 15 entries are getting weekly in average. I saw the comment that steemit team likes to give support as vote prizes.
Can we get a voting support for our contest series too?
I prefer if you can support with votes for all good entries around 4%-5% like votes. Because for their effort. Or some vote prizes for the first 4 places? Any flexible way that you can allow resources.
We can offer a set of prize votes once a week from @steemcurator02 (4M SP)...
These votes will be increased by 10% if the posts are set to Power Up 100% (and they are not powering down at the same time).
