See the damage you cause to the ocean, river, highways, waterfalls, and trees before others do. A plastic bottle that you throw into the river by accident will result in the death of a living being. As well a small lie told to another person may also cause him to lose trust in you. Therefore, always try to do the right thing. Instead of criticizing others, let us encourage them and help each other with a kind word whenever possible.
Today's society is filled with jealousy, anger, and fraud. It's because everyone wants to put others down and get ahead of themselves.
People in our country enjoy gossiping. Some of these are false, but they spread as people come into contact with them. People in villages, in particular, are more eager to do this due to a lack of education. Unfortunately, even people with good education who work in offices do this.
YouTube owners are the most likely to spread rumors because they want to increase the number of likes on their pages. In Sri Lanka, those who own gossip youtube make the most money. I'm not sure why people are so obsessed with gossip.
The most recent case involved Shalani Tharika and Jayantha Dharmadasa. When someone hints about an incident, others use it to spread gossip. Later, those lies spread among people like a large tree. The consequences of such an incident are irreversible.
People are very interested in picking up other people's trash in today's society, so gossip videos are very popular and receive a lot of likes.
Almost everyone wishes to live a decent life. In our short lives, it is not slandering others that is important, but rather the progress made by one's own abilities.
