How I spent my day on the 10th.
After our journey to Nuwara Eliya, last night, we came back to our house at about 10.00 p.m. So, I had to start my day later than usual, as I little late to get up. When I woke up, my husband had prepared bed tea and breakfast for us.
So, after having my bed tea, I focus on unpacking and cleaning my traveling luggage. I brought some peas, guava, vegetables, and strawberry jam; first, I organized them. Later, I laundered all of the dirty linen that I used over the previous three days. Then I cleaned my house after being unable to do so for three days. Because I was exhausted from working nonstop, I felt unsteady to cook our lunch. Therefore, I requested my husband to bring lunch from outside, which gave me extra time to relax.
Because I was exhausted, I didn’t even open my laptop to work on Steemit, either for commenting or publishing an article. After lunch, I decided to take a nap to recharge my energy.
Later in the afternoon, I attended a meeting of our Ladies Society.
It started at about 4.00 p.m. but only a few participants attended. Until others came, we had a small discussion. When all the participants arrived, the meeting started at 4.30 p.m. The chairperson of the society welcomed the members pleasantly and requested them to remember the religion before starting the meeting. The minutes of the last meeting were approved by the members, the treasurer presented the budget. When it came to new suggestions, members inquired about our annual trip. After a lengthy discussion, it was decided to travel to Matale Riverstone on August 18th Sunday. All the members were asked to join in with the family members. The meeting adjourned around 6.00 p.m. after finalizing breakfast, lunch, and the places to visit.
On the way to my house, I stopped by my son's house to see whether my daughter had found my gift. Even though they had arrived at about 10.30 p.m., she had searched for the gift. After several attempts, she had discovered it.
She offered me some fruit salad, while having it, I chatted with her about our journey to Nuwara Eliya.
We had hoppers for our dinner. After that I opened my laptop to write about my day. This is how I spent my day.
