HTC was a giant in the smartphone industry. they were the first to manufacture a smartphone. I remember one of my friends had an HTC One M8 which looked really cool back in the day and still its design looks elegant. Since the beginning of this decade, HTC hasn't done well. They tried to make a comeback last year with HTC U23 Pro which was a regular smartphone with no standout features but this time, they've done something with the HTC U24 Pro.

The HTC U24 Pro aims to make a statement in a crowded smartphone market with its blend of high-end specs and thoughtful design. It seeks to capture users’ attention with its impressive features, including a powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and a triple-camera setup, promising both performance and versatility. However, despite these strengths, the device faces stiff competition from other manufacturers offering similar features at more competitive prices.

The HTC U24 Pro boasts a sleek and stylish design, measuring a thickness of 9 mm and weighing in at 198.7 grams. The build quality is solid, featuring a Gorilla Glass front, aluminum frame, and a plastic back. It supports dual Nano-SIMs and offers IP67 dust and water resistance, ensuring durability in various conditions. The device's thickness provides a comfortable grip, and the under-display optical fingerprint sensor is both responsive and secure, adding to the overall premium feel of the phone.

The display is one of the standout features of the U24 Pro. It sports a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1080P, achieving a sharp and vibrant 392 ppi density. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and an excellent viewing experience, whether you're browsing the web or playing games. Protected by an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass, the display is built to withstand daily wear and tear, making it a reliable companion for multimedia consumption.

Under the hood, the HTC U24 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm SM7550-AB Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 720 GPU. This setup delivers robust performance for both everyday tasks and demanding applications. The device comes in two variants: 256GB with 12GB RAM and 512GB with 12GB RAM, both utilizing UFS 3.1 technology for fast data transfer speeds. Additionally, the microSDXC card slot allows for expandable storage, providing ample space for all your apps and media.

This combination allows for detailed and dynamic photography in various conditions. The main camera supports 4K video recording with HDR, ensuring high-quality footage. The front-facing 50 MP camera, equipped with autofocus, ensures sharp and clear selfies, and supports 1080p video recording, making it ideal for video calls and vlogging.

Battery life is another strong suit of the HTC U24 Pro. It features a 4600 mAh non-removable battery that supports 60W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The inclusion of PD3.0 and QC4 ensures rapid and efficient charging, allowing you to quickly get back to your activities without prolonged downtime. Reverse wired charging is an added bonus, offering flexibility for powering other devices on the go.

On the software front, the U24 Pro runs on Android 14, offering the latest features and security updates. HTC has integrated AI enhancements to improve user experience, from optimizing battery life to providing intelligent camera functionalities. The commitment to timely Android updates ensures that the device remains secure and up-to-date with the latest advancements in mobile technology.
