*Xiaomi's T series brings flagship specs for affordable prices. The newest Xiaomi's 13T series, including the 13T and 13T Pro, continues the tradition of offering powerful smartphones with impressive features. These devices, launched in Berlin, Germany, bring improvements in camera hardware and a notable improvement compared to last year.*

Both the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro share an elegant and modern design. The build quality is top-notch, and they are IP68 certified, making them resilient against water and dust, a first for the T series. Available in attractive colors, these smartphones offer a premium look and feel. There are Vegan Leather color options too.

Both devices feature a vibrant 6.67-inch OLED display with a high 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth and responsive touch interactions. The Full HD+ resolution and impressive peak brightness of over 2,600 nits make for an immersive visual experience. These displays deliver sharp details and rich colors. It's not a curved display. So, the bezels around the display are quite visible.

The Xiaomi 13T is equipped with the Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset, developed in partnership with MediaTek. It offers robust performance and is paired with LPDDR5 RAM (8GB or 12GB) and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The 13T Pro is powered by the all-new Dimensity 9200+ chipset, faster LPDDR5X RAM (12GB or 16GB), and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or a whopping 1TB. From quality perspective, Mediatel was behind a few months ago. But now, they are like.. in the level with Snapdragon.

The camera systems on both devices are impressive. The 13T features a primary 50MP camera with a large sensor, OIS, and an f/1.9 aperture. Joined by it is a 50MP portrait telephoto camera with a 50mm equivalent lens and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. These cameras come with Leica Authentic Color Options for realistic color reproduction and Leica Vibrant Look for more vibrant shots. The camera system is versatile and should deliver excellent results.

Both phones are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage. The Xiaomi 13T supports 67W wired charging, which can fill the battery from 0% to 100% in just 42 minutes. In contrast, the 13T Pro takes charging speeds to the next level with 120W HyperCharge, offering a remarkable 19-minute charge time for a full battery. Both charging speeds are impressive but I prefer 67W charging because it is the sweet spot. And there's no wireless charging.. kind of a bummer.

The devices run on Android 13 with Xiaomi's MIUI 14 skin on top. Xiaomi has committed to providing four major Android updates and five years of security patches, demonstrating its dedication to long-term software support. That was needed since years back. Both the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro come with dual speakers for an enhanced audio experience, supporting Dolby Atmos Audio. This ensures a rich and immersive sound quality.

The Xiaomi 13T starts at a competitive price of €650 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. On the other hand, the 13T Pro, with a faster processor and faster charging, starts at €800 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.
