A few years ago, HTC was a bigger player in the smartphone industry. As we all know smartphone industry was revolutionized in the last few years. And many smartphone companies were unable to adapt to those new things. HTC was one of them. They tried a few times to make a comeback. And here they are.. going to have another shot. So let's talk about their new The HTC U23 Pro smartphone.

The HTC U23 Pro features a well-crafted design with weighing only 205g. Its glass front and back, along with an aluminum frame, give the device a premium look and feel. The smartphone is also IP67 rated, providing dust and water resistance for added durability. The HTC U23 Pro runs on the Android 13 operating system, offering a modern and user friendly interface. It features such as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth and fluid visuals. It has narror bezzels so it has an aggressive screen to body ratio about 89%. With a resolution of 1080P, and a pixel density of 393 PPI, the screen offers sharp and vibrant visuals for a better viewing experience. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, ensuring durability against scratches and accidental drops.

The HTC U23 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup on the back, including a high-resolution 108 MP primary camera with a wide lens, PDAF, and OIS for sharp and detailed images. It is accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide camera for capturing wider scenes, a 5 MP macro camera for close-up shots, and a useless 2 MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 32 MP front camera that captures clear and detailed self-portraits. Talking about video capturing, the main camera can capture videos up to 4K@30fps while the selfie videos are capped at 1080P@30fps.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, the HTC U23 Pro offers reliable performance. The octa-core CPU configuration and Adreno 644 GPU handles graphics-intensive tasks, providing smooth gameplay and graphics rendering. With up to 12GB of RAM, the device is capable of handling multitasking and demanding apps with ease. It also uses UFS 3.1 storage technology.

The smartphone is equipped with a 4600mAh non-removable battery, which should offer a full day of usage on a single charge. It supports 30W wired charging, enabling fast charging to quickly replenish the battery. Additionally, the HTC U23 Pro supports 15W wireless charging, allowing for convenient and cable-free charging. It also features reverse wireless charging, enabling the device to charge other compatible devices such as audio devices wirelessly.

The HTC U23 Pro is priced at $599.00, making it a mid-range option with a competitive feature set and pricing. When considering its specs, it's clearly a mid-range, but the thing is its price is a tad bit higher for the price bracket. Let's see how well it would do in the market.
