Australian Cricket Team is touring in Pakistan after 24 years. And it was a hard-playing day for Australia. Also, the last few days.. had been a bit emotionally overwhelming days for them. Yesterday, Australia lost two of their fine formal cricketers, Rod Marsh and Shane Warne.

I don't know that much of Rod Marsh but as far as I heard, he was a great Wicketkeeper Batsman for Australia. Also, he had coached Australian and England club cricket teams. He was 74 years old when he died..
I know Rod Marsh was a special character but it's not what shocked the cricket fans. It's the death of Shane Warne. I mean, at first, it was hard to believe. I think that may have been the same way for anyone who is a fan of his cricket life or commentating.

But it's true. He was died due to a heart attack when he was living in his villa in Thailand. Before his death, he had even shown his condolences regarding the death of Rod Marsh via Twitter.
Talking about his cricket life, we all know who he was. The big spinner. He was bigger from body size and the spinning of his bowling is also phenomenal. He had the ability to spin the ball from nowhere to the middle stump. He's the one who bowled "The ball of the Century".

His excellence is clearly shown in his bowling career. He took 700 wickets in test matches which is only second for Muththaiah Muralidaran. It didn't matter whether it was ODI or Test, he spun the ball like crazy. So many batsmen hesitated for facing him.

Unfortunately, I had no chance to watch him play for his country. But I've seen him play in IPL. He played for Rajasthan Royals. Also, he captained the team. Even Rajasthan Royals won the IPL title in 2008. But in recent times, people know him because of his commentating.

Shane Warne is a... most of the time a radical commentator. He has a different thought process. Sometimes he got blamed for this. But surely he enjoyed commentating. I mean, we all know about Australian commentators. They really love their country. But most of the time, Shane Warne tried to express himself about the game. That's what I loved about him.

Yesterday, I saw some images of Shane Warne with Murali which were taken at Galle in 2004. We all know Murali raised the "Foundation of Goodness". Shane Warne had given a lot of help to Sri Lanka through that fund in order to make the helpless people's lives better.

But anyhow, we won't get to see him again. We all will miss him with the mic in the middle of the ground.. or in the commentator room. So.. goodbye Legend.. May this be a tribute for him..
