New Year Is Coming... Another Tree Is Preparing | 5% for SL Charity | Club5050

The First Half of the month "March " is gone.. So it's so close to the "Sinhala - Tamil New Year". And for that, all the trees are preparing for the festival season. And our Rambutan Tree is only one of them.

Our Rambutan tree is a bit old right now. Several branches died within the last two years so we had to cut them off. But still, it knows really well when the New Year Season is. So nowadays, the rambutan tree is being dressed by tiny tiny White Colored flowers to make us happy in New Year's Season..

In some years, there was less presence of flowers. We have to expect it when trees grow older. But this year, age hasn't been a matter for the tree. The flowers are everywhere.. And it's so pleasing to see.

I saw some bees and කන මීමැස්සෝ are roaming around the flowers collecting pollen out of flowers. They are the real heroes of this mission. I could eat Rambutan because bees and කන මීමැස්සෝ are contributing to pollination.

In the interim, Our Kawinga is having a very comfortable sleep hearing all the sounds of birds and squirrels. Seems like he's having a warm welcome from those creatures. I forgot to mention that a few days ago, Kawinga caught a squirrel so squirrels are not a big fan of Kawinga.

I took some close-up images using my macro camera and the results were amazing. As you can see, small Rambuttans are visible there. We all know, all of these are not going to be big. But some will and..they will give enormous happiness for us and animals..
