But some actors do their own stunts, like Tom Cruise. And others rely on a stuntman. And this is a different story of a stuntman.

The Fall Guy is a 2024 American action comedy film directed by David Leitch. It was written by Drew Pearce and it is loosely based on the 1980s TV series of the same name. The film stars Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, Teresa Palmer, Stephanie Hsu, and Winston Duke. The movie was released in the United States on May 3, 2024, by Universal Pictures. The film also set a Guinness World Record for the most cannon rolls performed in a car.

The Fall Guy follows an experienced stuntman, Colt Seavers who performs stunts for the popular actor, Tom Ryder. There is this camera girl, Jody who like Colt and Colt also likes her. Since they are working together, they haven't step up for a relationship. But they know each other very well.

One day, when Colt was performing a stunt which he falls from a building, the harnesses didn't work as it should and Colt was seriously injured. He was able to recover from the incident but his mind hasn't. He took 18 months off for this incident and never called back Jody or never answered her calls.

Many things have changed while Colt was away from work. Gail was the producer of the movie that Colt performed stunts. And now, Jody is not a cameraman anymore. She is a director now. She is going to make her first movie, "Metalstorm". Tom Ryder is the main actor here also. But the thing is he doesn't like perform his stunts.

So Colt was required. Since Jody was not good with Colt, Gail called him and made him to join this movie. In the interim, Tom Ryder was having some trouble with drinking and he wasn't present on the project. At first When Jody saw that it is Colt that performs stunts, she was not OK with it. But somehow Gail was able to make her OK.
