If you ask What's the most hyped TV series in 2023, it's "The Last of Us'. Since the announcement of HBO that they are going to do a TV Series based on the Video Game Series, The Last of Us, fans got crazy. It was really hyped..

The First Season of The Last of Us consists of 9 episodes. 04 episodes are already aired to date. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey play the main roles here as Joel and Ellie. The content of episodes has been questioned since the last two episodes.

Talking about the Story..

It all starts in 2003. Yeah.. and it has a really good opening explaining how can a disastrous situation occur in the future. And that's something most Post Apocalypse stories are missing. But here, it's explained using the first few minutes of the opening episode.

Government Indonesia has announced an Emergency Situation in Jakarta. It's because people starting to act violently to other people. Seems like this is not only in Indonesia. This is going on all around the world. And it's getting worse.

Seems like these violent behaviors were occurred due to fungi attacking to the human body. The thing is, fungi can't survive in the human body because they can't survive under that temperature. Due to global warming, by the time, Some fungi have adapted to these conditions and they are highly toxic to people.

Intact, it's not toxic. It gets control of the human body and controls it to spread the fungi to other humans. And along that process, the fungi won't let the human body die. These infected zombies like humans are called " Clickers".

The story goes around Joel and Ellie. Joel had a daughter who died in 2003. After 20 some years, he's working as a laborer and there he found his partner, Tess who is an activist in "Firefly" which is an anti-governmental group. People are governed by FEDRA.

"Firefly" has found this young girl, " Ellie" who is infected with this fungi but it seems like her immune system is fighting it. So it won't spread. So, the job of Joel and Tess is to get Ellie to West.

So, will Joel and Tess be able to get Ellie to the West safely? It's up to you to find out..

My Experience..

I love these types of stories. The thing is I'd love to witness this Post Apocalyptic World with my eyes which I only can see through a screen. And I loved every bit of the environment.

But the thing is.. there's an Elephant in the story. Things were going well until the 3rd episode. I don't know whether it was on the story but that episode cause people to underrate the series. But I think it was well recovered after 4th episode which was a great one.

Ratings..

Ratings could have been better if the 3rd episode wasn't off track. That episode ruined some fans' hearts. And that cost was paid as a downgrade of ratings. I hope it'll recover.
