Before New Year Dawn.. | 10% for SL Charity

It's only two days away for Sinhala And Tamil New Year. We saw the changing of the Environment since Few weeks. And I'm witnessing the things happening in our home. And we all know what we've been doing for This New Year.

In spite of Hot conditions in these days, We can see New Year vibes throughout in the environment. So many colorful Flowers can be seen on trees. And specially we can see flowers in Fruit Trees.

There is already fruits on Our Rose Apple tree. But there is a lack in Flowers on Mango Trees. I think it's because of the Hot and dry conditions. Usually we expect rain these days.. But you know, climate changes..

Talking about our home..it's so busy these days. Mainly My Mother and My Grandmother are preparing various kinds of food these days. At first they prepared Spices which is required for days to come. Then they brought various types of Grains to prepare Sweet Meats.

They mainly brought Green-gram which is widely used for Sweet meats. And now they're preparing things for Pickles too.

Yesterday they've prepared Bilimbi (බිලිං) Pickle which is one my favorite. I love Brinjal Pickle too. Yesterday, I had the chance to taste them at @rasinkani 's place which was really nice..

As a Community, Steem Sri Lanka Community organized a few Projects around the areas where our members live. So yesterday, our group organized our Charity work in Elpitiya Region. We helped Five Families who had number of Economically difficulties.

Totally there were 23 Children who are still studying. So, we brought them most needed Foodstuffs to fulfill their needs in New Year Season. Also we gave Stationeries and Sweet Meats for Children.

It felt so good to be part of such an event.

So in this year, The New Year celebration is somewhat different and special than other years. It's because of Steemit and Our SL-Charity project. We were able to set a Smile on people's Faces who were about to cry after New Year Season. That's the best thing I witnessed in this New Year Season...
