There is a river flows near our home. It is just few meters away. For your better understanding I have attached a map with this. Please at the end of the post. It is Madampa river. It most like a lagoon / lake in our area. There are few islands, peninsulas in this area. It is Maha Ambalngoda on the other bank of the river. We can see Delduwa, which has a Buddhist temple. We can see its "Seema maalakaya", which is used for Monks' special religious activities.

Most of the lands here, filled out with cinnamon fields. Therefore, this area is not crowded. This my mother's born village. They have lived here for generations. Area has not been changed much during past decades but recently. New families have located in the village, and we do not know much about them.

There are many eye-catching sceneries in the area within few meters round. But we are unnecessarily busy, so that we do not even see this beauty. Thanks to my uncle who lives in Anuradhapura, which is located far away from down south, we visited river after ages. I could not tell you, uncle who is my mother's only brother, his wife and their daughter's family, daughter, husband and two children visited us early this week.

Both daughters are very talented, cute and friendly. Though they saw us after years, still behaves nicely with all of us. They can sing as their father and dance as their mother. Even my uncle and aunt can sing nicely. It is an art family. My sister is a dancing teacher, while brother has a studio. So, these children are familiar with artistic things from the beginning.

With their arrival, we visited that river port after ages. Nothing has changed and still not a crowded place. No one was there when we reach. We could identify locations on the bank. I used map for this. But the port was not in the map. So, I added location into the map. You can find this location now.
