Surprising our little boy on his birthday...
Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing well.
Last week we had something very special to celebrate. My little nephew, Pinitha, entered the third year of his life on November 17th. So, why not celebrate it?
I visited my brother’s home on the day before his birthday with my mother and father. As usual, our little boy was looking forward to welcoming us with the same happy smile on his face. No matter how many days we have visited there, he is always so thrilled to meet us.
We had planned how to spend our little guy’s birthday. So, my brother and sister-in-law went shopping the previous day and bought his birthday presents, a cake and some stuff for decorations. The main birthday gift from his mom and dad was a little car. We decided to keep it hidden from Pinitha until the birthday arrives. So, after he went to bed, we placed the car in front of the bed so that the car becomes the first thing he is seeing just after getting up in the morning on his birthday.
Milk rice dish is an essential thing in our home on birthdays. The following day, my mother cooked milk rice early in the morning. Then I put them on a banana leaf and cut them into pieces.
But it didn’t turn out as well as expected. The pieces had not set well. Anyhow, it was not a big issue since there were no guests to serve them. The taste was so good as usual.
Our birthday boy got up at around 7 a.m. Just like the same way we wanted, the car was the first thing he saw in the morning, and he was so surprised by seeing it. He quickly got up and ran to the car. He touched it, smiled a lot. He was so happy. The smile on his face was so beautiful, and it made all of our hearts fill with happiness.
Then my brother made him sit in the car and took him for a ride. Beginning in the morning, he got a lot of birthday wishes through phone calls from our relatives. But unfortunately, he refused to talk to any of them because he was so excited and busy riding a brand new car.😄 So, we had to accept all of the wishes instead of him.
Anyhow, the plan of making him surprise in the morning went so well.
