Not everyone has all the comforts. Happiness does not depend on having all the comforts. All of these are world doctrines that depend on many factors, such as destiny, luck, commitment, struggling to live, and determination.
We often worry about the things we do not have, no matter how many things we have. And we struggle a lot to get what we don't have. That is the nature of the world. It's not just me, it's a common thing that most people in the world do to live a comfortable life.

Think for a moment. If you have enough food to eat, you are one of the luckiest people in the world. If you have the money to buy what you need, you are even luckier. If you have a house to live in, you are luckier than most people living in the world. If you have hands, feet and good health you are one of the luckiest people living in this world.
How sad it is to think about things that we do not have. And how sad it would be if we did not do so even though we can help others.

Steem Sri Lanka is a very effective platform to share our experiences and our ideas. So steam Sri Lanka we took a little effort to help a few people who have so many economical problems.

While several members of our team were engaged in this charity project in the Balangoda and Moneragala, we provided goods as much as we could help the children and their parents of several low-income needy families in the Karandeniya area in the Galle District.

After a somewhat difficult journey, we reached the Karandeniya area. While my boyfriend and I were travelling on a motorbike, my friends came with the goods by the cars. We even had to walk some distance to reach some of the houses we targeted. Although I had been to Karandeniya before, I never really thought that there were such difficult areas.

When I saw the suffering of the people in some of the houses, I thought how lucky we are. So first of all I would like to thank steem Sri Lanka for involving us in this project.💓

We tell a story that no matter how much money there is in big houses, there is no happiness. And that the little house is happy even when it has so many economical problems. But after we went to the targeted houses we saw how tearful the life people were spending.

Before beginning our journey, we went to one of our friend's home and collect all the parcels. My friends had done an excellent job by brought all these things and well wrapped them in previous day.

Then we reached the temple in the Karandeniya area. It was under the guidance of the Chief Thero of this temple that we found several families who wanted to take care of this.

We first reached this house here. There were several children. But my attention was drawn to a little boy.

Their eyes lit up with tears of relief as we delivered the goods. With the economic hardships approaching the New Year, how could they have thought that we would celebrate this Sinhala and Tamil New Year? So we were able to add a smile to their face.

After talking to them for a while we reached our next house again. We also had to walk a short distance to reach the house, since there was no well-made road to get to the house. The house was quite old and was lived by several children and their parents. They also made a living by working as hired labourers. The smile on their faces after we helped them is unforgettable.

We talked for a while in that house and got ready to move on to our next destination. I think I'm right in saying that this is the most sensitive and impossible house we've ever been to. The house was reached by passing small stone steps. A staircase is not a well-designed staircase. After the slippery road, we reached the little house.

Although the house is a place to show that it is very small and poor, I think that house is a beautiful hut with the loving care of that mother. One of the mother's arms was injured. Curious about that, we all asked, "What happened to your hand?" She replied that the accident happened when she was riding a bicycle with her husband.
That Mother was a very open person. She talked openly with us about many things in her mind that she had never told anyone before.

We all had tears in our eyes when she told us about her sad situation. Only her youngest son was at home at that time. This loving mother called this son "Sudu putha".He is a cute and a shy boy. Every time she spoke to her son like that, I felt how much this mother loved her children, no matter how troubled she has.

Another thing I realized from her was how encouraging she was. Due to the damage to her hand, she is unable to do any work these days. As a result, her husband, who suffers from kidney disease, has to go to work to earn money. Her children are well-educated in the village school. She determines to educate her children well and make them educated children without such difficulties. Tears of joy welled up in her eyes when we gave goods which we carried. It was difficult to carry the goods to this house for our boys. But they did their job best.

Also, my friend @randulakoralage helped her financially as much as she could. The smile on this mother's face cannot be measured by money.

Next, we went to help with another similarly financially distressed house. We also had to travel long distances to get to this house. The goods including books we provided was also a great help to this family of several children who is studying.

5th home

Finally moved to another family. That was the fifth family we helped. The mother and two other children were at home at the time. This mother had come to take us to that house with her daughter.

Each of these families looked forward to our arrival. These goods provided by our team before the Sinhala New Year season was a great help to those who were tired of economic hardships. We give them these things that genuine smile that remained on their face, the shining tears that showed the innocence perfectly.

So the only wish of our team Steam Sri Lanka was to help these economically distressed families as much as we could. All the members worked hard and did all the things together.

Therefore , we got a successful ending as the result of everyone's support.

The last 11th was the most memorable, most emotional day of my life.

It is also a great pleasure to join the Steem Sri Lanka team and bring a smile to these innocent people by helping them.

I believe that the only thing we can do for others is to help everyone we can. Thank you very much my friends in Steem Sri Lanka and all the others for your dedication to the success of this event.
