SSL Charity Phase – 3 | Bedsheets for New Corona Unit | 25% for SL Charity
We have done many charity projects under phase 1 and 2. And here we are going with phase 3. This time, our donation is related to a new corona unit of Karapitiya Hospital.
Since the day of Corona Outbreak we couldn’t see when it will be stopped. Situation is getting more worse day by day. Even the corona is changing and making it is harder for people. New types of the virus are being spread faster and the number of positive cases and death are increasing.

With the increase of Corona patients, resources for caring patients were lacking. Availability of space for patients in hospitals are not enough. Therefore this corona unit is built newly at the hospital. This is ward 68 of Teaching Hospital, Karapitiya. There are many resources that are needed for this new unit. We have decided to provide raw materials for bedsheets that are necessary for this ward.
Bedsheet Materials
Location : Teaching Hospital, Karapitiya.
Unit : Ward No. 68, New Corona Unit.
Donation: Raw Materials for 50 Bedsheets.
Cost: RS.17,250.00

We have handed over the bedsheet materials to the Nurse who was in charge. With the current situation of the country having a new corona unit is a great help. It is a pleasure to help this project.
