Shopping with girls | 10% for SL Charity

Going shopping is one thing girls love to do. There is no difference for me. When we were in school, we went to shops sometimes to buy things, or sometimes we just look at them and comeback. We were not that much rich. (Thinking about that school time is the richest period of our lifetime 🙊😁).

Coming back to the topic of shopping, when girls do shopping, they don’t feel the time. If you have gone to a clothing store with mom, sister, your girlfriend or wife you will know it. Normally our dad doesn’t come with us to the clothing store, he let these three girls go and take time as much as they want. He knows his girls 😂.

Anyway this story is not about my shopping journey with them, but with my university friends. And one of most memorable day.

In the period of university years, there are many functions. In the first year, we do the organizing and decorating many functions. Which means we are in backstage. The special day for us in first year is “Social”. The only event we won’t organize in the first year. Which is the Welcome party from our seniors. In our Faculty it is called “Siyoth Saraniya”. In first year we wear sarees for this function.

When it comes to second year, we welcome our juniors. We do all the planning and decorations for them. When we are at second year, we wear frocks.

Hah haa.. you got it. Here comes the need for shopping. In our girls gang there are several girls and normally we discuss and plan these kind of things. So we decided to go for shopping. Since one of our girls live in waliweriya, she suggested us to visit her place and then go for shopping together.

That day morning we went to her home. And went for shopping in the evening. It wasn’t easy to select frocks for many girls. You know that they will select one, and again they will want to look into other frocks. If they find something else beautiful, they want to fit on it again like that. It never ends.

After a while we were exhausted walking here and there. there is this thing we were used at university. We could sit anywhere which is suitable for sitting 😂. It can be floor, a staircase, or a ground without mud… this habit we got while we are working for functions. We cannot wait for chairs.. we will sit anywhere and rest. At the store, we were tired, we didn’t mind what others think… Sat on the staircase, without disturbing others to walk on it. And took few photos too 🤣.

My conclusion is, don’t go shopping as a bunch!!! Never!!!
