Family Time | 5% for SL Charity

These days, my sister and I both are working from home. Basically our family is at home. But now we have a new member in the family, so we can’t say totally that the whole family is at home.

My brother-in-law doesn’t have vacations very frequently since he is an Army guy. They have a few days of vacation periodically. These days his job is "being quarantined". I tease him sometimes. More than doing the job, he is quarantined 😅.

Anyway, he got a week's vacation this time, before being quarantined again. This time he will fly to Sudan after quarantine period. They are going as a medical team working or UN peacekeepers.

Since he has short vacation, my sister wanted to go out with the family. I think it is the first time we got the chance to go out with all five members, after they got married. Not including short visits to relatives and other places.

Even both my sister and me thought upside down, we could think of a place to go in this very short period. As always, it became “The Galle Fort” 🤭. We got there at the evening, unfortunately, we missed the sunset by few minutes.

The place was little crowded. As normally, kids were playing, so many people were walking or jogging in the area. We found a place where we can sit and less crowded.

Looking at the sky and sea, we have spent some time there. The horizon looked very much colorful at the moment, with the sun going down for a sleep. When it started to become dark, ships and the boats that are waiting for signals to enter the harbor started turning their lights on. It was a beautiful scenery. I couldn’t capture it as my eye have captured.

If you want to go to Galle Fort, go there at the evening and wait till the sunset. And walk back in the streets in the middle. You will see a whole different world there 😍🙊.
