Second Time At a Second Hand Book Shop | 5% to SL Charity

After I heard that there are some second hand book shops in Maradana I was waiting for a long time to go there. Finally the day came. On last wednesday After finishing my lectures, I went with there with my friend. We took the bus from Punchi Borella and took off at the Maradana railway station. Even though we knew that the second hand book shops are located near the Maradana railway station it took more than one hour to find the place. It was an adventurous journey! Ha haa.😅

First we stopped a three wheeler, then we said that old uncle to bring us to the Nawaloka hospital as the google map showed us the Nawaloka hospital and the second hand book shops are located very close to each other. We said like that because many people don't know about second hand book shops.

Then the uncle has taken it as the National hospital instead of Nawaloka hospital and he stopped the three wheeler there. We couldn't understand whether we should laugh or cry because it was the place where we took the bus to Maradana. The story has few more parts and it was ended finding the right place anyway.

Actually those book shops are located very close to Maradana railway station, you have to walk five mintue from there and you can easily find that. No need to do those kind of "wikara" things for it.

There were many small small book shops together. You can go there and the shop owners are really friendly and they have a very good knowledge about books and authors. They will help you to choose the books for sure. Also you could find very good books for the low prices. I bought this novel and a academic book, which cost 3000 for 300 rupees. You know they have used old pages, but what's the matter? Pages are the old ones, not the story.

I hope to visit there in the next month too. Walking here and there choosing the books in an old book shop is one of the best feelings on this earth!❤
