My Favourite Cartoon| Steem Sri Lanka 3G Contest Series| Week 03

My favorite cartoon is How to Train Your Dragon, created in the USA. It was released relatively recently and premiered in 2010.

Of course, first of all, this cartoon pleases with a high level of performance of visual effects. However, the most important thing in this picture is the plot. It was he who conquered me and made me review history over and over again with equal pleasure.

The main character is a Viking boy named Hiccup. Of course, at first glance, he doesn't sound like a central character. The teenager is different from his fellows

the fact that he is weak both physically and there morally. In general, the Viking from him is not bad. However, the more we get to know him, the better the mind, kindness and ability to cope with their fears open to the viewer.

The Hiccup tribe waged a long and unsuccessful struggle with dragons. And the boy believed that if he killed one of the reptiles, then his life would immediately improve. During a night raid on the village, the hero knocks down one of them - the mysterious Black Fury.

Inspired by his success, Hiccup went in search of the wounded animal. But when he found the dragon, he could not inflict the fatal blow, but on the contrary released his enemy.

A little later, the main character finds the freed Fury in a valley hidden by rocks. It turned out that the dragon could not fly away due to the injured tail. This is where the long and touching history of their friendship begins. Having gone through many problems, including misunderstanding on the part of fellow tribesmen and even his own father, Hiccup did not give up his views. As a result, the story ends with a truce between Vikings and dragons and a victory over a common enemy.

This cartoon can teach us a lot. For example, how important it is to have real friends. Not only because they will always come to the rescue. But also because for the sake of them we ourselves become a little better.

Also, looking at Hiccup, you understand that you do not need to be afraid to be yourself. Each of us is good in our own way. If a person is afraid to be himself, to do what he wants, you can live your whole life under someone else's masks. You don't have to let anyone else dictate to you what to do or who to be.

Nowadays, there is a lot of violence, murder and anger on the screens. And I hope that bright and kind cartoons will be released much more and more often. I advise everyone to watch How to Train Your Dragon. Both an adult and a child will be able to take out something valuable for themselves from there.

Hi @ petervi ,
Thank you for your entry.
I have also watched this cartoon. You are right. We should not be afraid of ourselves. We are very good at something that is unique to us.😉
