The Best thing I did with my steem

Warm greetings from cameroon ,the land of promise ,the land of glory.
I must start by saying that I joined steem when i just got fed up with life and was almost giving up.
I had had this long term dream of owning my own pig farm but did not have any money even when I tried to collect a loan once the heavy charge send me running.
While in the steemit platform I was able to earn and save up to 40SBD / 145300FCFA at the time.
I was able to use these steem to purchase one pig at 50000frs, purchased local construction materials for 60000frs and bought feed for 35000frs,
and constructed a suspended single room fence near the pit toilet in the compound that I rented at the moment, as that was the only space my landlord could provide

This was the biggest dream come through as I could regularly use my steem to purchase feed and gave the pig vaccines.
This spending is so special to me because it was the start of my pig business,and I gave me so much hope that I saw a reason for leaving and it opened my mind to believing that all dreams are valid.
And today the single room fence and the one pig with more fund from steem has been able to grow in to,

This has really impacted my life an many around me . Through this farm i have been able to raise money in addition to my steem to seen my 3 kid sisters to school, provided over 60 bags of 50kilograms each ,worth 275000fsr/$500 of pig mannue to six families for free , who have been displaced by the ongoing sociopolitical crisis in cameroon, now residence in my neighborhood to help then in crop cultivation

Through my experience in this business,I now produce low cost feed for farmers in my neighborhood,this helps then safe some cash for other uses

Though the farm is still made up of very local materials I will keep working hard and plus my steem will be able to make it mordern and larger .
So far I fell so motivated and excited about this farm ,that I have been able to build with my steem, being able to assist people and family , seeing the smile on their faces gives me a sence of satisfaction I can not explain. I can only achieve all this thanks to my steem.
