Hello, friends from Sri Lanka.

For me, it's a pleasure to write again for this dynamic community.

My favorite cartoon when I was little was called Top Cat. It was a Hanna Barbera series that was broadcasted on a Venezuelan TV channel called "Venevision Channel 4".

These cartoons were broadcasted every day at 4:30 pm. At that time I had done my homework and it was snack time at home.

It was about some stray cats from Manhattan led by Top Cat. They were up to a lot of mischief and a policeman named Officer Charlie Dibble was always trying to catch them but never succeeded.

Characters:

Top Cat was a lead cat with a vest and hat. Its color was yellow and it was a shrewd and witty cat.

Bebby the Ball was a charming, fat, blue-colored kitten. It was very intelligent and sensitive. It wore a white jacket and was the smallest of all the cats.

Choo-Choo was second in command to Top Cat. It was a pink cat and wore a turtleneck sweater. Its speech was in the colloquial Brooklyn manner. For the Spanish version, its voice was dubbed in the Mexican style.

The brain was an orange cat. Its attitude was slow-acting and its character was naive. It wore a purple t-shirt and was the weakest of the gang.

Spook was a very cuddly cat. It loved jazz and was a good vibe cat. It wore a black tie and was very friendly.

Fancy- Fancy was a cat who wore a white scarf. It had a charismatic appearance and talked nicely with the cats. It was a big fan of Top Cat and its behavior was inspired by the actor Cary Grant.

Officer Charlie Dibble was the policeman who guarded the crate. He was always in uniform. His relationship with the cat gang was one of love and hate. Most of the time he fell into the cats' tricks and he paid the consequences of the felines' mischief.

My favorite character was the clever little Bebby the Ball because I thought it was cute and cuddly.

I don't remember learning anything good from the cat gang because I was so little. However, I always realized that when we work together for the same cause, goals can be achieved faster.

That's how the Top Cat gang was, they always acted together!
