The Secret Beach - 5% for SL-charity

Yesterday I wrote an article about my friends' new restaurant. It was not our last stop on that day. After spending some time talking about old memories, we thought to spend the time at a beach until the sunset.

Mirissa and Weligama beaches are highly crowded in the evenings so we didn't feel comfortable to go those. So one friend proposed to go to the secret beach. I have also never been there before. It was near the Mirissa fishing harbor. It's a secret beach just as the name says.

We had to ride along a hill and park bikes at a nearby house. Then we had to climb down a big slope to find the destination we were looking for. It was not much crowded and extremely beautiful. The beach was surrounded by two cliffs, maybe that's why it is called a secret beach. There were only a few tourists at that time and they had more privacy there. One thing I noticed is that this place is more popular among tourists who are looking for a place to relax and have a sunbathe.

The environment was calm and it is also good to have a sea bath. We spend some time there to enjoy the sunset and the view. Although it was not easy to reach there I honestly think it is worth that effort.
