Telco Annual Trip

Though this happened last year, I thought of sharing this with you since it was a happy moment that I have spent with our team members. Normally we receive a budget for our annual trip from the company. We can decide the place and everything within the team. So, last year we went to the Mermaid hotel & club hotel, which is situated in Mahawaskaduwa, Kalutara.

We hired a bus as our transportation method to go there. People who are unable to reach the hotel in their own vehicle joined in with this. I also used this method. We started our journey around 8.00 am and we had our breakfast on the way to the hotel. When we went there, they warmly welcomed us and served welcome drinks to us. We have received two complementary rooms. Then we could be able to use to change and prepare.

Our trip organizing team has prepared fun games and we played them. The winners of the games received gifts. The gifts are also food items. Hence it was shared with everyone at the end of the games. After enjoying those games, the boys played cricket. We received Snacks and soft drinks. We spent our time chatting and sharing different memories with everyone.

After that we went to have our lunch. The food was delicious and there were many verities to choose. After having our meal, we went to our rooms and some of them went to the garden area. Since this place is a beach side hotel, we went to enjoy the sea in the evening. After that some of them are went pool and the boys played pool games again.

We took group photos at the end of the day and after having evening tea we came back to our bus and ready to come back to our homes. It was a fun and memorable time for every one of our team. We were able to make new friends as well.
