Mount Blue Kandy

Today, I’m going to share with you a review of a beautiful hotel which is situated in Kandy. This place’s name is Mount Blue Kandy, and it is situated on top of a mountain in Kandy and also it is very near to the Kandy Lake round as well.

Since this is situated on the top of a mountain, I think you can imagine the view of this place. According to me this place and its view is the most beautiful view that I have seen so far. In our childhood, if someone tells us to draw a morning view then what’s come to your mind. I think this is common to all of us. We used to draw a mountain with half of sun, a river, a house and birds. When you wake up in the morning in this place you can see the real-world view of those drawings. To be honest I cannot explain the beauty through words. And I must say, it was the most beautiful sun sunrise I have ever seen so far. This place is a very clam place. You can have a good relaxation at this place.

Considering the room facilities, those are in good condition as well. If I mention those, swimming pool access, Buffet area, TV, AC, tea or coffee making ability, water bottles, and also every facility for bathroom. It has different types of rooms like deluxe double rooms, super deluxe double/ twin room, deluxe suite rooms, superior suite rooms and family suite rooms.

Considering the prices it costs nearly 25,000 LKR for one night for adults with HB basis. The prices will change according to room type and meal plan preferences. When considering the facilities and unlimited buffet and all the things, I think it is reasonable. You can have your meal in the buffet area. Since we have taken HB, we could be able to have the dinner and the breakfast. Dinner was arranged with soup, starter course, main course and dessert. Breakfast was arranged as Sri Lankan style or English set menu.

We have seen few foreign visitors in this hotel. But the majority is from local people. Couples and families came to this place since the prices and facilities are being good. Apart from that people came to this place for a high tea experience. Another thing is the staff members. They are really friendly and helpful. By considering all those facts, I would like to highly recommend this place to everyone.
