Donut Party at Office

Most of the IT companies are maintaining a hybrid approach as their working style. Nowadays the companies which have been used to fully working remotely due to corona and other health concern, are going to apply this method now. Normally they are planning to arrange work from office day for at least 2-3 days for a week now.

Since people are used to work from home, it is very difficult to adopt and also gives some inconvenience when going to the office. When thinking about the people who are living far away to colombo, it is true. They have some travel issues. Before the remote working method, those people were used to rent rooms or arrange any other method for that.

However, there is a need arise in nowadays. Because many people are hired, and they didn’t see the team members. Therefore there is a need to engage and build up a good professional relationship with each other. On the other hand, working from the office is really fun.

After considering above all facts, out higher management have decided to gather people at least one day for a week. So, last week we gathered at the office. Another good thing is our higher management allocated a budget for each team for entertainment activities.

Since we didn’t have much time to plan something big, we thought of arranging a donut party at the office. We selected the shop” Gonuts with Donut” and collected their menu. After that we selected different flavored donuts for packs including sweet type donuts and savory type donuts.

They have delivered them to our office location. The donuts of this shop are really tasty, and the price is also reasonable in these days. Since we have enough budget, we have given 6 donuts for each member. Everyone enjoyed that moment and enjoyed donuts.
