Annual Trip – 2023

Hope you all are doing good. Today I would like to call to back the memories of our annual office trip which was held in last year. This was held last year in October, but I didn’t have time to share about this with you.

Normally our company allocates budget for each team for an annual one-day trip and for the annual two-day trip to somewhere as our preference. So, our team’s welfare team organized this. First of all, they have conducted a poll in MS Teams to decide a date for this event. After selecting a date that most of the people can participate in this, they have opened another poll to collect votes for selecting a place. Finally, the place all of them have selected is Jetwing Blue, Negombo.

They have arranged a bus to travel to this place. As we had decided we went there around 8 am. They warmly welcomed all of us and served welcome drinks to us. And gave two rooms for us. One room is for boys and the other one is for girls. After spending little time, we all gathered in an open area because there was a game initiator for us. He planned some games for us as well as our welfare team also planned some games for us.

Before starting the party and other things we start our games because otherwise we cannot find everyone. Especially boys. It was really fun. We played many games. Since the new members, including myself, didn’t see most of the members before. Therefore, this became a good time for everyone to get to know eat other.

After the games they gave us some snacks and soft drinks. We enjoyed it while chatting with each other. After that we went to the lunch buffet area and there was a huge buffet. And the food is so delicious.

In the evening time we went to the beach and enjoyed ourselves. Some of them went to the pool and played games from there also. The boys played cricket and girls played card games. Actually, after a long time we all had a great time with our team members. It built our friendship more and more.
