Wedding Bells!!!

Weddings are of course joyous occasions and a great place for reunions. As most of our friends are here and there and absolutely busy, weddings are a good place to meet some of them occasionally.

Last week, one of my school and then university friends got married. They planned the wedding for months and I was repeatedly told to attend. So, I had to be there, and it was a lovely day and ceremony...

Happy wedded life, beautiful couple!!!

It was in Galigamuwa town Kegalle, on the 10th of November. So, it was a long journey for me, and a few other friends from here were invited. As we wanted to attend the Poruwa ceremony as the closest friend, we decided to arrive there at around 9.30 a.m. We hired a van from here.

It was an amazing location, at Hotel Shans. An elegant floor hall with a good space and everything was nicely planned. The Poruwa Ceremony was started at around 9.50 a.m.

There were many friends from my hometown and from the university. There was a lot to talk about and a lot of past memories to remember. As I recall I met some of them after the university. As I said, the hotel was really beautiful, nice setting on the ground floor and there's a balcony in the mid-level, which is really nice experience.

The band was Unity led by Radeesh Vandobona. Recently they became more viral with the YouTube channel and the groom needed them so badly from the start. It cost them a considerable amount, but their presence truly lightened the ceremony. The dancing floor was full and the audience enjoyed the moment to the fullest. We didn't forget to invite the couple to dance with as well.

Just like everything I was impressed by the food as well. They were delicious and nicely arranged.

So, after the event we congratulate them and bid farewell at around 04.00p.m with happy hearts after all.
