First Experience of Online examinations!!
Life is totally changed with the Covid-19 pandemic. When entering the university, anyone wouldn't think to spend the final year at home. But, that's the current situation. We couldn't enjoy the best year of uni life. Anyhow, I got the chance to sleep in my own room, and have mom's food. Every dark cloud has a silver line.
Almost all the lectures were held online. Assignments, reports, quizzes, even presentation were done via Zoom. It was a great experience. But, had to face a lot of difficulties with the connection issue in my area.
With the technical problems, we requested physical exams in the uni, which we got. There were 2-semester exams were left.
Just before finishing, the one-semester, Covid pandemic was increased in the country. Throughout, were isolated in the hostels. It was a hell of a time. But we couldn't complete the semester.
So, there was no choice other than to face the Online exams.
As usual, I came to a friend's house to face the challenge. Sudden power failure, connection failure was the major threats. And also, the guidelines also were pretty tough, as the lecturers wanted to keep up the standards. Can't complain about that.
We were separated into breakout rooms and cameras has to be on. A supervisor checking carefully about our moves. It was an open book one. Thank god!
Anyway, I could face it without minimum interruptions, fortunately. Um not talking about the paper, lol. 😅😅😅 It's about Highway construction and maintenance. The module is interesting but difficult.
A few of my friends, has to face technical troubles, unfortunately. It's all about luck!
Now it's time to release some pressure. Because it was stress time due to the first experience. A cup of fruit is suitable for any mood!
But, this is not the end! Another semester exam is waiting soon!! Wish me to complete that also well!!

@damithudaya I'm happy to see that at least the education system process with online. Otherwise many people's time may dragged without any usage. These ages are the keys to the success of our life. And good luck for your exam.

The challenges facing exams with a pandemic situation are different. But it's so sad the success depends upon luck. In most rural areas, an uninterrupted internet facility is an asset. Most of the students suffer from the nonavailability of internet facilities or poor network speed. Nice to hear that you overcome those barriers. Good luck
Yeah, personally for me also, I have to go here and there for searching good connection. Later I heard few friends had to face inconveniences with power cuts and connection losses. Had to face the exams very stressfully.
If the government can give good internet coverage islandwide, most of the problems in the Education system can be solved. But don't see that in the near future.
