Viva

In our university, every subject ends up with oral examination. We wear saree for participate to viva examination.
The main aim of the oral examination is built up confidence among students to face job interviews after pass out from the university.

There are 3 students participate into each viva. Usually, one senior lecture and one junior lecture or temporary lecture in the viva board.

They begin to ask questions by asking our normal life. Normally they ask about our home town and famous economic crops in our area. Then they enter into subject related questions.

They ask questions in a friendly way. There are 5 minutes allocate for each student. We can earn 5 marks out of hundred by doing oral examination successfully.

1 mark allocate for our attitudes and behavior within the viva board and 1 mark for way of dressing. We have to dress in a professional way to participate to viva.

I wear my mothers’ sarees for the examination. Because of she is a teacher she has lots of saree. My friend helps me to wear it.

I would like to say that; I learn lots of things by participating these oral tests. Mainly I improve confidence to speak in front of the panel in English.
In our next examination I have face it. I never like to participate oral test in hard subjects…..??
