As far back as I can remember, I have always been very interested in photography. Apparently, this hobby is rooted in early childhood. When I was a very young child, I often watched with bated breath as my parents do some tricky things with old cameras. Parents took special devices, sometimes even some kind of chemical substances, and as a result they got photographs that are the most real. But getting the photos this way was not easy. Sometimes relatives or friends even came to help the parents. For me, the whole process of producing photographs was completely shrouded in a veil of secrecy, through which it was not possible to penetrate.

We treated the photographs displayed in such a laborious way with special trepidation. How to become an expert? For example, I could sit for hours with photographs in my hands, carefully examine every corner of them and mentally transfer myself to places and times imprinted on them.

Then it became much easier to use cameras, but the film was still quite expensive. I had to be very selective about what, when and how to shoot. Photography was still a privilege of adults that they could not afford to share with their children. But there were exceptions: my parents sometimes trusted me to take a couple of shots. At such moments, I felt incredible excitement, realizing all the responsibility entrusted to me. I spent a long time choosing a subject for shooting, and then the most exciting moment came: with trembling fingers, I touched the coveted shutter button and pressed it. An audible click, and that's it: now there is one frame less in the film. And whether it will be successful or unsuccessful, it will become clear only when the rest of the frames are used up, and my parents and I go to the photo studio.

Since then, much has changed in photography. Nowadays it is very easy to take pictures, even a three-year-old can handle it without any problems. In addition, there are various computer programs and mobile applications that provide almost unlimited possibilities in terms of editing and processing photos. Now it is not easy to catch that exciting feeling of communication with the camera, familiar to me from early childhood. But despite all these changes, my love for photography has not faded. On the contrary, today I am even more interested in photography.

Why am I interested in him? There are several reasons for this. First, I notice a lot of curious things around me every day. I want to capture as many different moments as possible in order to keep them in my memory. Another reason is that with the help of photos I can share my emotions with people: with the advent of social networks, this has become very easy. It is also very important for me that photography gives me the opportunity to express myself and unleash my creativity. Finally, if the quality of my pictures is high, I can take part in competitions and exhibitions and even count on a small income.

I do not take money for my work, but my relatives say that it would be worth taking payment. Their words inspire me to work harder and maybe soon I will become a professional photographer. I did not attend any special courses, but only looked at a few lessons on the Internet. But next year I'm going to the course to get a certificate and take some lessons from a professional photographer.

So, photography is my hobby and a great pastime. And even if I do not manage to achieve any impressive results in this field, I will always know that this is the activity that makes me happy.
