RE: Is Splinterlands moving to HIVE?

in Splinterlands4 years ago

SteemPeak is still on steem however we understand that the infrastrucutre for it to run is likely to poop out at some point. There may be total centralization of API pretty soon and no one really left at steemit inc to even run that API as we've seen it have issues. So Splinterlands is likely gonna have to move.

Using the word "robbed" doesn't help the case. Hive tokens didn't exist on friday... they never owned any so you can't rob someone of something they never owned. BUT your point about it being frustrating for them is valid.

The decision is however that the COMMUNITY is going to decide on whether they get hive tokens. However one line of thinking is they fully supported justin sun so why would they even want to be a part of Hive? That's the line of thinking... but there were likely mistakes so now the community will be involved to make a decision.

P.s. @bji1203 is posting all but his splinterlands posts over on Hive, he's pretty much switched.

Sort:

Afaik the koreans did not fully supported Justin Sun at that time, they were trying to bring balance thru the proxy.token (or whatever it is) votes. But anyway whats done been done, hopefully they and the community can come to a peaceful resolution.

Hi there

I've been reading through many comments related to new hive chain and I've seen your comment too. Many users are being torn, however majority seem to be moving to new hive.

Are you fully moving there or will you stay on both chains? Just curious. I'm trying to figure out what to do myself.
