What is Wrong Indonesia?

Indonesia with almost 273 million citizens should easily find a great footballer and can create a great team with talented players.

Don't get me wrong, we have great team recently, but we should be able to do better if we see from a large number of Indonesian citizens.

Moreover most Indonesian are football fans. It is the biggest sport here in Indonesia like a lot of other nations, take for example how Brazil seems to have an endless production of great football players.

It is even harder for Indonesia to compete regionally, and not even manage to go through the world cup. We even struggled really hard to be able to lift the AFF Cup for the ASEAN Nations.

We are sitting in the 164 in the latest FIFA Rank, which is a great leap because we were sitting in 166 prior to the AFF cup. Thanks to the recent wins in AFF Cup which make them possible.

But look at Singapore, they are at 160, a better rank than ours. Do you want to know the citizens of that island nation? Better not, as we really should have been at a better rank.
