Bengalis traditionally have panta vaat and hilsa bhaji on New Year's Day. I'm sorry neither panta rice nor Hilsa reached you this year. Good luck with your hopes of doing something big.

Thank you very much for reading my post and replying to my post. “Pohela Boishakh” is like a rib bone in our Bengali life. Just as bones are needed to stand straight, the role of “Pohela Boishakh” is immense if Bengali history is to be presented in the world court.
