Hi guys,

In week 3 of the engagement challenge, the steem Azerbaijan community has brought forward a wonderful contest topic and I must say it will educate a lot of us about the world of technology.

So they say everyone has a passion for what he or she is doing in his lifetime. It might be talking, singing, painting, drawing and even playing around with technology. As far as I can remember I've always been a fan of technology.

I remember when I was a kid, we could only afford a radio at that time. There was this only tv my dad purchased for the whole of the house to use for listening to the news. I was a child and didn't know anything about the news so I didn't like it. Whenever my father left the house I would sneak into his room and pick the radio and play with it. If you can remember at that time those radios where very fragile so as I was playing with it one day and I spoilt it.

This was my first interaction with technology and ever since I have loved it.

After I spoilt the first radio my dad got another one and this time round they were more careful because they knew one of the kids had destroyed the old one but no one was owning up.

Well, the second one was more advanced than the first radio as you will expect. It got a better signal and I must say it was easier to use.

This time around to prevent any of us from destroying it they decided to teach the kids in the house how to use the radio. The basic thing we were taught was how to switch it on and off the propped way. This one used electricity so we had to plug it in before we could use it.

Then a time came my dad decided to buy a sound system.

As we know a mini-sound system at that time had a lot of functions. It had radios also its backup speakers were as huge as the main speaker.

This speaker was the one that took CDs at the top. So my dad bought a music album from his favourite musicians each time he was coming home from work.

I can tell you that from all the radios I enjoyed the 3rd one the most as it was more advanced and had a lot more technicalities than the others.

Let's move from the radio section into the cooling systems.

Well if I can remember correctly, we didn't have a fan in the house at first because of the high cost of electricity.

So instead my dad bought a standing fan which we only switched on at night whenever we wanted to sleep to make the weather cool and convenient.
From the standing fan we bought a mini mini air conditioner.

I call it a mini mini air conditioner because it was cool but very little. It was only good for one or two people as it couldnt satisfy the needs of everyone in the house.

So my dad used that one in his room and left the standing fan for us.

From the mini air condition, was were able to afford a Samsung smart air conditioner.

An aircondition that provides both cold and warmth. In this modern day, I know that numerous air-conditioners can produce warmth too so am not that surprised.

We hardly switch on the air conditioner this days because the weather is cold and my dad is always sitting in the hall.

Now let's move into the more cool stuff.

I have used about 4 to 5 phones even before my current phone.

As far as I can remember, I have used an Xtigi yam, a Samsung pocket, a Huawei smartphone and a Samsung galaxy grand prime plus.

The xtigi at that time was quite expensive.

It was a yam that could last over a week when fully charged . It had a very bright light. It had a four sim slot and also a memory card slot.

Not to forget it took pictures too.

My second phone which was actually an android phone was the Samsung galaxy pocket. It was small but might.

This was what I used for my first WhatsApp and I must say that I love it very much.

I own a Samsung A10s. A phone I have used for about 2 and half years. I bought it when I entered university.

I think it is still strong but it's getting slower day by day.

It has a 32GB ROM space and 2GB RAM which I believe contributes to Its slowness.

The camera is not too good but since am not a fan of pictures it hardly bothers me.

The next thing is my laptop.

I have used a series of laptops.

From a Lenovo which is not working now cause it developed a small issue.

This Lenovos ROM was 1TB. With a ram of 3GB. It was not too fast but I enjoyed using it because of the about of space it had.

It was gifted to me by my father when I got admission into the university. I liked it initially but later on, I didn't because it started developing problems which meant I couldn't use it how I had wanted to.

Now I am using a smaller laptop. This laptop is called the TM1. I must confess that this is the first time I have heard is such a brand.

It has a 4GB ram and a a 200 GB ram(miles behind my other laptop) but I like this one more because it is faster.

Well for me I am inclined toward the usage of my phone. I find it easy to navigate through steam it using my phone. I hardly use the laptop these days because I don't watch movies and now that we are on holiday am not using the PC for any school projects.

Technology has changed the way the world thinks and I must say that it is a blessing as it has not only shown us new ways of doing things, it has also shown us easier ways.
