The study of prayer improve our mental health and well being in so many ways. Traditionally it is considered a matter of faith and spirituality. Prayer reduces stress . Engaging in prayer may lead to decrease in cortisol level , which are associated with stress. By providing a sense of comfort. Offering prayer creates positive emotions. It is associated with feeling of gratitude, hope and compassion. By focusing on positive thoughts and emotions individuals may experience a sense of happiness. In hard and challenging time prayer is the one thing that will help a person. Prayer is often practiced in religious and spiritual communities providing
Support for social support and connections. Practicing prayer may involve element of mindfulness and mediations which reduces anxiety and depression in a person.
What are the scientific facts of regular practice that affect our physical and mental health? |

Regular practice of prayer improves physical health like offering prayer is a exercise of a body which help a lot . It also help us to reduce weight by consistently offering prayer means you are doing exercise daily . It also keep you away from many diseases like diabetes and heart problem. It also improves our immune system reducing the risk of illness and infections. Good immune system is necessary for healthy life . It also helps us to have good sleep. Exercise helps regulate sleep wake cycle reduces stress hormones and and promote relaxation.
Regular practice twice of prayer also improves our mental health . Regular exercise helps to improve mindfulness and mediations.Exercise releases harmones that creates happiness in you. It is associated with lower risk of developing mental illness such as depression, anxiety and disorders. Regular practice of exercise improve your self confidence and self esteem.
