World Of Football - Announcing Our Twitter Account "@steemitfootball"
WHY THIS INITIATIVE?
We have now established our official twitter account (@steemitfootball) which is going to be instrumental in our future plans including our upcoming community twitter promotion. Twitter is one of the social media platforms which has a huge number of worldwide users with over 300 million active monthly users. As such, it is an ideal platform for us to share our content in order to gain much publicity in the world.
Our goal with this account is to announce our presence to the twitter world which would help us to reach a higher audience and promote this community. We will be sharing some of the great posts we find here on that account as well as share some important updates with our followers.
A quick look at the account
We are urging all community members to go and follow this account immediately. Our community is almost a month old and we would want to dedicate the upcoming week for a twitter promotion of steemit football. All great postings governing our twitter promotion event will be required to include a twitter share as well as tag our twitter account (@steemitfootball) in the post as well.
We also want to foster engagement amongst community members. Keeping track of our individual twitter accounts in this community will enable us to follow up on the various activities of ourselves which would make us connect even further.

On the one hand, I congratulate you for all the enthusiasm. For me to be in this community is to share fresh air in the midst of the pandemic.
On the other hand, I don't like to mix chicha with lemonade. TW is a social network that has its dynamics. So far I don't know what is the growth of users in steemit coming from Twitter.
Do I have to open a twitter account?
You are right @marcybetancourt, but my intention was to create this to enable us promote our great posts here on twitter due to its large active user base.
We are going to be doing a twitter promotion very soon so having a community account would help out. Another factor was that many steemians are also on twitter already and share many of their posts in the comment section. That is what we hope to do with this.
I would suggest you get one but if it will strees you out, you don't have to worry about it.

I'll think about opening a twitter account. I think twitter is winning users through steemit. And steemit is not gaining users through twitter.
