Today marks the 13th edition of our daily challenges in this community. Once again, our 12th edition was a great success with lots of interesting comments about the motivation you would give as captains of your teams. Thank you to all who participated.

If you were a football manager, there are lots of decisions you would need to take involving tactical ones such as roles and formations. What if you really needed to win this particular game and had to play an attacking formation. What formation would you use.
TODAY'S CHALLENGE
Different managers tend to have their own style of play and tactical choices. This can be the deciding factor as to whether or not you will win or lose a particular match. As a football manager which one will you use?

En una formación de ataque para estar todo el tiempo atacando yo me iría con una 4-4-2
4 delanteros que incesantemente estén arriba, 4 mediocampos que pasen la pelota y fomenten el ataque encerrando al oponente en su propia cancha y al mismo tiempo corten los avances del contrario. 2 defensas que tendrán que jugarse todo o nada.

El hecho que tenga una formación de ataque no indica que debo descuidar la defensa, porque nada hago con meter goles y que me los metan de vuelta. Yo pondría un 2, 4, 1, 3, con 2 atacantes centrales, 4 medios, de los cuales 3 estarian ayudando a los atacantes, pero con labor de tranformarse de contención y unirse al medio central que queda como enganche entre la defensa y el mediocampo, de forma tal que al atacar serian un 4,2,4 pero al defender seria un 2,4,4
The fact that I have an attacking formation doesn't mean I should neglect the defense, because I don't do anything about scoring goals and getting them back. I would put a 2, 4, 1, 3, with 2 central attackers, 4 midfielders, of which 3 would be helping the attackers, but with the task of transforming themselves into containment and joining the central midfield that remains as a link between the defense and midfield, so that when attacking they would be a 4,2,4 but when defending they would be a 2,4,4
Very true, strengthening both sides should work well.
I would definitely go for : 3-1-4-2 formation.
This allows the central midfielders to help midfielders too as well as cover the defense. As formation is wide, relies on wingers to deliver some good pass and cross to the forwards. Also, upfront two midfielders can play full attack without needing to worry on back and support the wide play or create passes to front two forwards.

I don't know if the question is really about the formation but i would prefer talk about the animation. I mean, I can use 3 teams that mark their era by the offensive quality and that are still oftently shown as exemple, The 70's Ajax, The end 60's Brasil or even the Guardiola's Barca. The ajax was playing in 4-3-3, the Brasil in an hybrid 4-2-4 with four 10 in attack ( Rivellino - Tostao - Jairzihno - Pelé), the Guardiola's Barca with a reinvented 4-3-3 which was sometimes a 4-7-0.
All I want to say is that the tactics has to be made based on the qualities of the players you have in your squad, but the most important is how you will be able to make them play together and how they will be able to create movement and developed a football based on an offensive spirit.

4-2-2-2 is simply the best when it comes to an attacking football. I've used it, and still using it till now on XAYA's Blockchain Soccer Manager Elite league, to which it has given me a positive results always, with my attackers scoring lotta goals. Even in times when i had a weaker team, I still always dominates possesion and have the higher number of shots on goal.

I think the best formation for an attacking play is 4-3-3. 4 defenders, 3 mid fielders and 3 attackers...

For an attacking formation I would go with a classic 4 3 3
With 3 forwards and use attacking wing backs to support the cutting in winners for additional artillery !
