Hi, would like to put forward my suggestion...

The impact of COVID-19 has reached far and wide and as such cannot be stopped but may be reduced by collective efforts. So what can be done?

  • Players can be entrapped inside bio-bubble, but this is not effective because players get in contact with their families post games. That means their families must also be inside the bubble, which is not feasible in the long run.

  • Playing inside closed doors is another option, but it is perfectly understandable that this impacts the football economy.

  • Taking personal hygiene with utmost priority is very crucial. Using masks, sanitizing at regular intervals have now become the new normal.

  • It is necessary footballers get jabbed with vaccine doses. However there have been news where some players in the Bundesliga (if I can recall correctly) initially refused to get vaccinated.

  • The football governing bodies should join hands with W.H.O. to jointly spread the message of vaccination for keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe.

That's all.

Well, I believe vaccinating everybody is a start. With everybody, I mean from the owners of the clubs down to the ball boys. Anybody that comes into contact with the players ought to be vaccinated too.

Players and management teams are to observe strict social distancing and avoid social gatherings and parties. A penalty should be set for offenders to ensure that it is strongly enforced. At least, till the incidence dies down.

The unlimited of spectators should be limited to allow adequate distancing in stadiums, obviously only vaccinated fans should be allowed to attend matches.

Dressing rooms, training grounds, and every place of contact should be decontaminated on a regular basis

I believe players and team managements undergo regulating testing for the virus and I think that is strongly recommended. Suspected cases quarantined as soon as possible.

If the cases continue on the rise, the only effective measure is to halt all games for the safety of players

There are several ways the impact of covid-19 can be reduced on football, but I think some few ways include;

Quarantine the players or isolate the players
one of the ways I think covid-19 impact can be reduced on the football is to put the players in isolation. Preventing them from coming into contact with people will go a long way to help them not to get the virus talk less it having effect on them.

Assuming players are allow to come into contact with players only and if none of them is having the virus it will be quite difficult for them to get and it having effect on the team.

Ensuring that fans wear face mask and observe all the covid-19 protocols in the stadium
It will be appropriate and will help if fans are been enforced by the authorities to observe all the covid-19 protocol in and around the stadium like wearing of face making, washing and sanitizing the hands.

Vaccination
I think if all players are vaccinated it will go a long way to help prevent players from getting the virus.
