Hello my football lovers. Today am very happy to make my entry on the validation post to our beloved world of football community. My post today will be covering some few areas and i will start of by talking about what i intend to create in this great community. I hope to get your support @njaywan @booming01
What i intend to create in this community
For a great fun of football my task will be very simple. I intend to write more about match previews, participate in match prediction challenges and also to compete more in contests. I intend to add much as possible if i can to this great community to make it more fun and entertaining as always. In doing this i have understood what content etiquette is and i will try as much as possible to follow these basic principles.
Content Etiquette
These are the basic rules and regulations a member should follow when writing a post. Basically in every community there are rules you must follow to write post and even to join a contest. Content etiquette is what guides as members to be very effective and not stray away from the basic rules. This means we must avoid plagiarism and copyright when we write our post.
As a newbie to steemit, when writing your achievements, plagiarism is one of the topics you should learn more about and write on. From my achievement 3 post, I explained that plagiarism is stealing and using someones work for your own personal gain. This act is frowned soo much in our world of football community. Copyright
Similar to plagiarism copy right is the legal right given to a producer or a owner to be able to own and produce an item, be it , music, videos, or images in other to make profit or for personal interests. So this means is the legal right protecting an author to own his product. There are copyright free images you can use for your articles from sites like creativecommons,stocksnap, pixabay and a few more. I will now be showing a step by step procedure on how to get copyright free images.
Step 1
Go to https://www.google.com
Step 2
For instance we want to use a picture of Jesse Lingard. Type in Jesse Lingard.
Step 3
Click on images from your search results .
Step 4
From the images preview click on the little settings button you will see a scroll button. Scroll to your left.
Step 5
The next step is to click on the usage rights button.
Step 6
At this stage you will see a pop up of two options. Click on the first one “creative commons licenses”. This gives you all free images of Jesse Lingard that you can use.
Step 7
I will be selecting the first picture for example to explain things more further.
Step 8
Under the image you can see license details.Click on it and this will show you that the image you are using is actually free to use.
Below is what will show in the picture after you click on the “license details”.
CITATION
Note, even after still getting your free to use images you still need to cite your sources below the images an example will be given below.

Finally to conclude the consequences of plagiarism and copyright is getting banned from this noble community and i will do well to desist from that. I will do so well all the time to cite my findings and also to acknowledge people from where i get my information from.I am well aware of the rules of this community as well as the norms of steemit and will abide by them at all times.
