Saludos futbolmaniacos de la comunidad #worldoffootball. Mi respeto a todos los miembros de de esta comunidad y al resto de miembros de la gran familia #steemit.
Otro viaje al pasado para recordar y revivir uno de los juegos, a mi parecer, mas emocionantes que eh vivido en las copas mundiales de fútbol. Quizás no sea el mas memorable, históricamente hablando, pero me lleno de mucha alegría y pasión por este deporte.
El 11 de julio del 2010 es una fecha que, futbolisticamente hablando, quedara grabado en mi mente. Ese fue el día de la gran final del torneo mundial de Sudáfrica 2010 donde se enfrentaron para obtener el preciado trofeo las selecciones de Países Bajos y de España.

Los seguidores, que contaron con la suerte y el dinero, se dieron cita en el estadio Soccer City de la ciudad sudafricana Johannesburgo. Yo por mi parte fui invitado por un grupo de conocidos a ver el juego en el centro Hispano Venezolano en la Ciudad de Maracay, Estado Arágua en Venezuela.
Es claro que el ambiente en el club donde vi el juego no era el mismo al del estadio donde se realizo el juego pero tenia la ventaja de verlo en una pantalla gigante rodeado de muchas personas amantes del fútbol y que le iban a la selección que apoyaba en ese juego.
Este partido era muy atractivo para los seguidores del fútbol no solo por ser la final de un mundial sino que enfrentaba a dos selecciones que manejan expectativas diferentes.
Países Bajos era un selección en la cual recaía el peso de la historia en el fútbol europeo. Llamada hace mucho tiempo la naranja mecánica, tenia la misión de conseguir el trofeo que en muchas ocasiones anteriores se le hacia esquivo.
Por su parte España venia de hacer un muy buen papel en la Euro copa de hace dos años atrás y tenia en su plantilla jugadores de muy alto nivel teniendo como médula a compañeros de dos grandes clubes de esa nación.
En el papel esta final estaba llamada a ser uno de los mejores juegos de la historia de los mundiales y no causo decepción a pesar de que los jugadores del país de lo tulipanes mostraron un juego que no identificaba la historia futbolista de esa nación.
Los entrenadores de ambas selección, Bert Van Matwijk por Paoses Bajos y Vicente del Bosque por España, sacaron sus jugadores mas prominentes para este juego.
La plantilla de Países Bajos estaba conformada por los siguientes jugadores: Stekelenbutg, Van der Wirl, Heitinga, Mathijsen, Van Bronckhorst, de Jong, Van Bommel, Robben, Kuyt, Sneijde y Van Persie de forma de titulares. En el avance del juego fueron incorporándose Elia, Van der Vaart, Braafheid.
Por su parte España alineo como titulares a jugadores como: ***Casillas, Ramos, Piqué, Puyol, Capdevilla, Alonso, Busquets, Xavi, Pedro, Iniesta y Villa. También jugaron Navas, Fabregas, Torres.
Los nombres de los jugadores de ambas plantillas llamaban a soñar a quienes apoyaban a cada una de ellas o simplemente al seguidor y amante del buen fútbol. Las expectativas estaba rodeando el ambiente.
Luego de los Himnos de cada nación el arbitro Ingles Howard Webb dio el pitazo inicial y comienza 90 minutos del mejor deporte del mundo (Luis Omar Tapia, Comentarista chileno para la televisión. ESPN, FOX Sports)
La emoción invadió a todos los asistentes en el lugar designado para ver el juego en la pantalla gigante. Ubicada en uno de los estacionamiento del club. En ese lugar la cantidad de personas que asistían a ver el juego era numerosa. Las camisetas de la selección de España colmaban el lugar. Una que otra de algún club español se podía ver en el lugar.
Lamentablemente la selección de Países Bajos salio al terreno de juego olvidando el buen fútbol que estábamos acostumbrado a ver de las plantillas anteriores a la que jugaba la final de aquel mundial.

La rudeza innecesaria que aplicaban no justificaba para nada su participación en aquella cita tan importante en la máxima competición de fútbol mundial. Era increíble, impensable, lo que se veía en la pantalla de la proyección del juego. Países Bajos siempre se había caracterizado, desde que fue nombrada como La Naranja Mecánica, por ser una selección que mostraba con su fútbol total un juego bastante visible, técnico y hermoso.
Eso no se veía para nada en el terreno de juego y a pesar de tener figuras relevantes del fútbol en ese momento lo que practicaba era definitivamente un anti fútbol total.
España intentaba hacer su juego y se veía imposibilitada para ello. La intensidad que se veía en la cancha hizo que las tensiones entre ambas escuadras fuese creciendo.
Ambos onces lograban tener ocasiones de anotación y ambos lograban disolver las mismas. Definitivamente el juego no era para nada amistoso. Los colores de la camiseta de cada selección suplían a los de los clubes donde pertenecían los jugadores y esto se vio claramente reflejado.
No existía compañeros de clubes. Las jugadas fuertes de Países Bajos lo demostraba. Y para cuando el primer tiempo terminaba la enemistad ondeaba en la parte mas alta del mástil mas alto que había en el estadio.
Los jugadores de Países Bajos que compartían camerino en clubes españoles se les olvido que jugaban contra compañeros del deporte en el torneo local ibérico. Van Bommel fue uno de los que demostró este hecho. Durisimas las entradas que utilizaba contra los contrarios. Sin dejar de mencionas la brutal agresión de de Jong a Alonso con aquella espectacular patada al pecho y que solo le mereció una tarjeta amarilla.
El arbitro fue muy criticado por lo permisivo que fue en aquel juego que no era meritorio de una final mundialista. Estamos a poco menos de 3 meses para cumplirse 11 años de aquel juego y todavía se critica la actuación del colegiado en aquel encuentro.

Comienza el segundo tiempo y la fricción y tensión dominaba el juego. Ambos equipos tenían oportunidades en bloques. Un rato para Países Bajos y otro rato para España. A pesar de las amenazas de anotación de ambos equipos el marcador seguía en cero.
Países bajos comenzó a tomar mas la iniciativa y presionaba de tal manera que los seguidores españoles comenzaban a dudar de que su selección alcanzase la victoria.
Robben y Sneijder comenzaron a inquietar a la defensa española y en una de esas Casilla se convierte en héroe al desviar una tiro luego de una escapada de Robben que quedaba mano a mano con el portero español.
Ambos técnicos deciden hacer movimientos en las platillas y comienzan los cambios tácticos y de jugadores para así lograr el triunfo del juego. Sobre todo en España donde se hicieron dos cambios buscando el triunfo.
Los nervios de los seguidores españoles en el Centro Hispano Venezolano de Maracay estaba de punta. Veían como Países Bajos se acercaba a la portería española aplicando su juego rudo y destello de técnicas.
Llega el final de los 90 minutos reglamentarios. Los seguidores españoles estaban preocupados ya que se seguir así el juego se creía que llegaría a la tanda de penales y allí no se sentían muy superiores a pesar de tener a Casilla entre los tres palos.

Los comentaristas deportivos estaban como locos sacando conclusiones del juego y al unisono el comentario general era la brutalidad en el juego de los jugadores de Países Bajos y lo permisivo del arbitro.
Comienza la prologa en su primera parte, la tensión seguía creciendo. España comienza a mostrar superioridad sobre su contrincante y genera buenas jugadas que fuero desperdiciadas por los mismos jugadores ibéricos.
En el rostro de los seguidores españoles en el lugar donde veía el juego se reflejaba la incredulidad de lo que pasaba. España estaba dejando pasar las oportunidades y abrir el marcador y encarrilar el triunfo del mundial.

En el minuto 109 del partido, considero, que se hace justicia futbolista y Países Bajos paga las consecuencias de hacer un juego rudo en el terreno. Heitinga derriba a Xavi cerca del área de su selección y es expulsado por doble tarjeta amarilla.
Muchos consideran que gracias a esta expulsión España consigue la copa mundial y quizás tengan razón. La expulsión de un jugador conlleva, muchas veces, a que el equipo no aguante la embestida del contrario pero hay que estar consiente de que esa expulsión debió haber pasado en los 90 minutos reglamentarios y no a la altura en la que se dio.
Por ironía del fútbol y de la vida llega la jugada de España mas truncada y desastrosa de este representado y del juego en si. En el minuto 115 luego de que la defensa de España anulara un ataque del contrario comienza un avance por la banda derecha que deriva en una serie de pases que fueron medio interceptados por los jugadores tulipanes y que volvía a los pies de los jugadores ibéricos.
En ese juego loco de pases llego el balón al área naranja para que Iniesta lo tomara y chutara conviertiendose en el héroe de la noche marcando el único gol que significo la victoria para la selección española en aquella final del mundial de Sudáfrica en el 2010.

La explosión de jubilo en donde veía el juego era incontenible. Vasos con bebidas volaban por los aires y todo aquel se abrazaba mientras celebraba el gol que a la postre significo el triunfo de la selección peninsular.
Luego del gol Países Bajos tomo la iniciativa buscando empatar el marcador y así forzar a la tanda de penaltis. La intensidad de los jugadores tulipanes fue inmensa y contó con la suerte de que Torres se lesiona faltando pocos minutos para el final.
A pesar del esfuerzo de los naranjas, la plantilla ibérica supo mantener la ventaja en el marcador y con el pitido que anunciaba la culminación del tiempo de juego comenzaron a celebrar el titulo obtenido en aquella famosa competición.
Un logro gigantesco para el fútbol español de la mano de Vicente del Bosque y de 23 jugadores que aportaron su grano de arena para lograr este icono en este deporte a nivel mundial.
En el Centro Hispano Venezolano de la ciudad de Maracay, sitio donde veia el juego, las celebraciones y el buen animo no cesaron hasta muy altas horas de la madrugada.
El ambiente era muy festivo y no se dejaba de comentar el juego. Los pros y los contra del mismo. Ya se hacían analistas mas tranquilos y con los conocimientos del deporte por encima del entusiasmo de seguir al equipo campeón.

Fue una vivencia muy especial la vivida por mi aquel día. Mi fascinación por este deporte se vio recompensada por un excelente juego a pesar de las notas negativas en el mismo. Un juego con mucho suspenso y que para nada fue acto para cardíacos.

Greetings soccermaniacs of the #worldoffootball community. My respect to all the members of this community and the rest of the members of the great #steemit family.
Another trip to the past to remember and relive one of the most exciting games, in my opinion, that I have lived in the World Cups. It may not be the most memorable, historically speaking, but it filled me with a lot of joy and passion for this sport.
July 11, 2010 is a date that, soccer-wise, will remain engraved in my mind. That was the day of the final of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, where the Netherlands and Spain faced each other for the trophy.

The fans, who had the luck and the money, gathered at the Soccer City stadium in the South African city of Johannesburg. I was invited by a group of acquaintances to watch the game at the Venezuelan Hispanic Center in the city of Maracay, in the state of Aragua in Venezuela.
It is clear that the atmosphere in the club where I saw the game was not the same as in the stadium where the game took place, but I had the advantage of watching it on a giant screen surrounded by many people who loved soccer and who supported the national team that was playing in that game.
This game was very attractive for soccer fans not only because it was the final of a World Cup but also because it pitted two teams with different expectations.
The Netherlands was a team that carried the weight of history in European soccer. Long known as the Clockwork Orange, their mission was to win the trophy that had eluded them on many previous occasions.
On the other hand, Spain came from a very good performance in the Euro Cup two years ago and had in its squad players of a very high level, having as core players from two of the great clubs of that nation.
On paper, this final was set to be one of the best games in the history of the World Cup and it did not cause disappointment despite the fact that the players of the country of the tulips showed a game that did not identify the soccer history of that nation.
The coaches of both teams, Bert Van Matwijk for the Netherlands and Vicente del Bosque for Spain, brought out their most prominent players for this game.
The Netherlands' squad consisted of the following players: Stekelenbutg, Van der Wirl, Heitinga, Mathijsen, Van Bronckhorst, de Jong, Van Bommel, Robben, Kuyt, Sneijde and Van Persie as starters. As the game progressed, Elia, Van der Vaart, Braafheid were added.
For their part Spain lined up as starters players such as: ***Casillas, Ramos, Pique, Puyol, Capdevilla, Alonso, Busquets, Xavi, Pedro, Iniesta and Villa. Navas, Fabregas, Torres also played.
The names of the players of both teams called to dream to those who supported each of them or simply to the follower and lover of good soccer. Expectations were surrounding the atmosphere.
After the anthems of each nation, the English referee Howard Webb blew the starting whistle and 90 minutes of the best sport in the world began (Luis Omar Tapia, Chilean TV commentator, ESPN, FOX Sports).
Excitement invaded all the attendees at the designated place to watch the game on the giant screen. Located in one of the club's parking lot. In that place the number of people attending to watch the game was numerous. The shirts of the Spanish national team filled the place. One or two Spanish club shirts could be seen in the place.
Unfortunately the Netherlands team took the field forgetting the good soccer that we were used to see from the previous teams to the one that played the final of that World Cup.

The unnecessary rudeness they applied did not justify at all their participation in such an important event in the world's top soccer competition. It was unbelievable, unthinkable, what could be seen on the game's projection screen. The Netherlands had always been known, ever since they were called "A Clockwork Orange", as a team that played a highly visible, technical and beautiful game with their all-round soccer.
This was not at all visible on the field of play and despite having important figures in soccer at the time, what they were practicing was definitely a total anti-football.
Spain tried to play their game and found it impossible to do so. The intensity that could be seen on the pitch caused tensions between both teams to grow.
Both teams managed to have scoring chances and both managed to dissolve them. The game was definitely not friendly at all. The colors of the jerseys of each team supplanted those of the clubs to which the players belonged and this was clearly reflected.
There were no club teammates. The strong play of the Netherlands showed it. And by the time the first half was over the enmity waved at the top of the tallest flagpole in the stadium.
The Netherlands players who shared a dressing room at Spanish clubs forgot that they were playing against fellow players in the local Iberian tournament. Van Bommel was one of those who demonstrated this fact. The tackles he used against his opponents were very hard. Not to mention the brutal aggression of Jong to Alonso with that spectacular kick to the chest and that only deserved a yellow card.
The referee was highly criticized for his permissiveness in that game, which was not worthy of a World Cup final. We are a little less than 3 months away from the 11th anniversary of that game and the referee's performance in that match is still being criticized.

The second half begins and friction and tension dominated the game. Both teams had chances in blocks. One time for the Netherlands and another time for Spain. Despite the scoring threats from both teams the score remained at zero.
The Netherlands began to take more of the initiative and pressured in such a way that the Spanish fans began to doubt that their team would achieve victory.
Robben and Sneijder began to worry the Spanish defense and in one of those moments Casilla became the hero when he deflected a shot after a Robben breakaway that left him one-on-one with the Spanish goalkeeper.
Both coaches decided to make changes in their squads and began to make tactical and player changes in order to win the game. Especially in Spain, where two changes were made in search of victory.
The nerves of the Spanish fans at the Centro Hispano Venezolano in Maracay were on edge. They watched as the Netherlands approached the Spanish goal with their rough play and flash of technique.
The 90 minutes of regulation time came to an end. The Spanish fans were worried because if the game went on like that they thought it would go to a penalty shootout and there they did not feel very superior despite having Casilla between the posts.

The sports commentators were like crazy drawing conclusions from the game and in unison the general comment was the brutality in the play of the Netherlands players and how permissive the referee was.
The prologue begins in its first part, the tension was growing. Spain began to show superiority over their opponent and generated good plays that were wasted by the same Iberian players.
On the faces of the Spanish fans in the place where they were watching the game, the incredulity of what was happening was reflected. Spain was missing opportunities to open the scoreboard and get on track to win the World Cup.

In the 109th minute of the match, I believe, soccer justice was done and the Netherlands paid the consequences of playing a rough game on the field. Heitinga brought down Xavi near his team's area and was sent off for a double yellow card.
Many believe that this expulsion is the reason why Spain wins the World Cup, and perhaps they are right. The expulsion of a player often leads to the team not being able to withstand the onslaught of the opponent, but we must be aware that this expulsion should have happened in the 90 minutes of regulation and not at the height at which it happened.
By the irony of soccer and life comes the most truncated and disastrous Spanish play of this game and of the game itself. In the 115th minute, after Spain's defense nullified an attack by the opponent, an advance on the right flank began, which resulted in a series of passes that were half intercepted by the tulip players and returned to the feet of the Iberian players.
In this crazy passing game the ball arrived in the orange area for Iniesta to take it and shoot becoming the hero of the night scoring the only goal that meant the victory for the Spanish national team in the final of the World Cup in South Africa in 2010.

After the goal, the Netherlands took the initiative in an attempt to tie the score and force a penalty shootout. The intensity of the tulip players was immense and they were fortunate that Torres was injured just a few minutes before the end.
Despite the effort of the orange team, the Iberian squad was able to maintain the advantage on the scoreboard and with the whistle that announced the end of the game they began to celebrate the title obtained in that famous competition.
A gigantic achievement for Spanish soccer under the guidance of Vicente del Bosque and 23 players who contributed their grain of sand to achieve this icon in this sport worldwide.
At the Centro Hispano Venezolano in the city of Maracay, where I watched the game, the celebrations and good cheer did not cease until the early hours of the morning.
The atmosphere was very festive and people were always commenting on the game. The pros and cons of the game. The analysts were already calmer and with the knowledge of the sport above the enthusiasm to follow the champion team.

It was a very special experience for me that day. My fascination for this sport was rewarded by an excellent game despite the negative notes in the game. A game with a lot of suspense and that was not at all for cardiacs.
