The British billionaire who lately bid for Chelsea football club has his bid been rejected although he is still interested in been the owner of or majority share holder of the club.

Rumors and other things confirmed some weeks ago talking about the fact the he was not interested in becoming the owner of the club. However the 69 years old declear his interest in the club just last Friday after the deadline which was somewhere on the 14 April 2022.

According to what he told the BBC, he had met Raine and the team a week before he conservation and he has put before them a bid to become the owner of the club.

He also started clearly that Raine should not decline his offer first of all because he is a British and second because they have good intentions for the club. He also added that Raine should not close any door for new bids or which will prevent other interested parties from not coming forward.

Ratcliffe have been linked as a Manchester united fan for some time now but all of a sudden outline his intentions for the blues team, women and underground football.

He was asked to defend whether his bid was late but he made it known in a different way, saying trying to buy a national asset requires a lot of commitment and time, also money.

They have been there for some time now and it is really complicated to decide whether to do that all not. At the moment we are committed to do that and is what is important. On his last submission, they got there on the last day and so they are not ready to give up.

He concluded by confirming the fact that when United and Chelsea are playing he has a divided attention. The support is been split into two one for both teams.
