2022 World Cup Qualification: Wales, Portugal, And Netherlands Are In Action

Today I am going to talk about 2022 World Cup Qualification news, how 3 teams such as Wales, Portugal and Netherlands are playing.
On Tuesday, more World Cup Qualifiers involving Wales, Belgium, Portugal, and the Netherlands will begin the European countries' journey to Qatar. Wales' qualification campaign began with a spirited loss in Belgium, but they will look to build on their friendly win over Mexico on Saturday when they host an in-form Czech Republic in Cardiff.
When Portugal visits Luxembourg, they will be looking to make amends for their contentious draw in Serbia. Luxembourg is coming off a shock win away to the Republic of Ireland. After a contentious 2-2 draw in Serbia on Saturday, Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal set about repairing the damage done to the Portuguese country.
As 10-man Serbia held the reigning European champions in an incident-packed match in Belgrade, Ronaldo stormed off the pitch after his stoppage-time winner was deemed not to have crossed the goal line. The draw kept Serbia top of Group A ahead of Tuesday's matches against Luxembourg and Azerbaijan, respectively, denying Portugal a perfect start to World Cup qualification. With victories, the top two teams will open up a seven-point lead at the top of the table, effectively ending Azerbaijan's and Republic of Ireland's hopes of qualifying for Qatar 2022, and effectively ending Luxembourg's as well.
On Tuesday, Wales welcomes the Czech Republic to Cardiff for their second 2022 World Cup qualifier, with a lot of ground to make up after losing their first match in Belgium, and the Czechs having taken four points from two games. The early Group E table does not bode well for Wales supporters. Belgium and the Czech Republic both won their first games, and the two teams drew 1-1 in Prague on Saturday, as Wales moved away from World Cup qualifying action.
With their third consecutive win in World Cup qualifying Group C, Turkey looks to hold the Netherlands and Montenegro at bay. The Turks followed up their exciting 4-2 win over Holland on Matchday 1 with a 3-0 win away at 10-man Norway on Tuesday night, knowing that another three points would put them on track to reach their first World Cup finals since 2002. Holland bounced back from their loss in Turkey with a win over Latvia last time out, and a trip to Gibraltar, combined with a match between Montenegro and Norway, offers Frank de Boer's side the chance to establish themselves as Senol Gunes' main challengers.
