CONTEST #11-MY FAVOURITE FOOTBALL SIGNING/TRANSFER
INTRODUCTION
Hello lovers of the round leather game(football).I wish to commend the admin of worldoffootball Community for always bringing good and interesting contest.
I also wish to thank @njaywan for always notifying me.
I have a couple of transfers that have caught my fancy.However for the purpose of this contest.I will single out one.
MY FAVOURITE SIGNING
My favourite signing so far is the signing of BRUNO FERNANDES from SPORTING CP to MANCHESTER UNITED.

RACE TO SIGN BRUNO FERNANDES
The last club that Bruno Fernandes played before joining Manchester United was Sporting CP(a Portuguese club side).
Before his move to Manchester United in January,2020...A host of clubs like LIVERPOOL FC, TOTTENHAM FC, MANCHESTER UNITED were all interested in the player.
But finally,he joined Manchester United in January,2020 for a fee of €80.
WHAT PROMPTED MANCHESTER UNITED TO SIGN HIM
There was a need for a world class attacking midfielder in the Manchester United team.This is to make the team more lethal.
Pogba has not lived up to the billing, although injuries and temperamental issues didn't help his course.
So the team deemed it necessary to acquire am Attacking Midfielder in Bruno Fernandes.
WHAT DID HIS COMING BRING TO THE TEAM
The arrival of Bruno Fernandes has brought a lot of creativity and goals to the team.
He almost singlehandedly qualified the team for the 2020/2021 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.Although they just crashed out of the group stage.
His impact since January,2020 has revived the interest of Manchester United fans in England and all over the world.
I know of a friend who stopped watching Manchester United games but had started watching the team because Bruno Fernandes has brought a lot of impetus to the team.
He turned the team to a PREMIER LEAGUE contender and has brought the fear factor back in the team.
His penalty taking style is a fun to watch.He runs,hops and sends the goalkeeper the wrong way.What a funny way to score penalties!!!!
BRUNO FERNANDES ACHIEVEMENT SINCE JANUARY,2020
Remember,he joined Manchester United in January,2020...In less than one year,he has achieved the following in the English Premier league.
1•Won Premier league player of the Month for
a record three times(February,June and November).
This is a great feat for a player that is new to the English Premier league(EPL).
2•Scored 15 goals with 11 assists in 25 games in English Premier league
It is not easy for a Midfielder to have scored such number of goals in the EPL alone.
WHY I LOVED HIS SIGNING
The signing of Bruno Fernandes has increased the number of Manchester United fan base.
It has expanded their fan base in England and in Portugal too.
His signing has also made Pogba and other MIDFIELDERS in the team to step up their games.
He has rekindled and rejuvenated Manchester United over the last few months.
Bruno Fernandes has brought power,attack, creativity,goals and steel to the Manchester United team.
What a SIGNING,What a goal MACHINE,What a Midfield maestro!!!!

What a signing he was indeed. At first, most people were saying he was overrated but his first match performance just blew everyone away.
It's true he almost pulled them through to UCL again. But managerial choices didn't really favor his gameplay at times.
Currently, he is compared to great midfielders like Kevin de Bruyne having scored more goals and created more chances than him this season.
He's had a good run. Let's hope he keeps up the form.
