La primera es llegar días antes, por lo menos 15 días antes para poder hacer una adaptación al cuerpo del jugador con respecto a la altura del terreno de juego. Por supuesto esto no es una realidad factible por los compromisos de los jugadores internacionales de las selecciones visitantes y por lo costos que sería cubrir las necesidades de dichos jugadores durante el tiempo recomendado para la adaptación.
Segunda opcion seria llegar al estadio por lo menos dos horas antes del juego. Seria como bajarse del avión directo a jugar. El cuerpo no asimila tan rápido el cambio de altura, en la mayoría de los casos, y esto podría crear una igualdad de condiciones.
En Venezuela no se sabe aprovechar las condiciones de terreno de los diferentes estadios para las eliminatorias. Si nos visita Bolivia no deberías ponerlo en un estadio de Altura con respecto al nivel del mar. Le das ventaja l visitante. SI nos visita brasil no debes ponerlo en un estadio de clima caliente o si nos visita argentina no debes jugar contra ella en un estadio de clima frío.
Esto es parte de las estrategias del futbol. Aprovechar la localía para sacar ventaja. Alli Bolivia lleva una gran ventaja y experiencia en ello.

I am definitely waiting on this match. It is bound to be an interesting one. Considering the fact that Brazil, having won the world cup 5 times struggle on Bolivia's turf, the pressure is on for Argentina.
Your point on the high altitude location of the stadium seems valid to me. Similar thing is linked with the performance of Ethiopians during the olympics. They thrive in thin are and as such, perform marvellously in ideal situations.
