The world cup is the largest single sport activity in the world with football fans from all around the world. Hosting the world cup in your country is a great achievement and honor but it comes with a lot responsibilities as well. So many countries all gathered at one place to watch the game of football.

Before a world cup is hosted in a country, FIFA makes sure that the country meets all the necessary requirements. I’ll be sharing with you most of the requirements Ghana as a country has met;

One of the requirements of a country that is needed to host a world cup is to have stadiums in good conditions with minimum capacity of 40,000. Thou Ghana does not have the required number of stadiums about 5 stadiums that can cope with the minimum required number of people per game.

Another requirement by FIFA is the accommodation in the country. Ghana is well known for how we accommodate our visitors, we treat them with care regardless of wherever they come from. Ghana also have a lot outstanding and world class hotel through out the country. I’ll give my country a pass if it comes to the accommodation we can give to the fans who would be travelling in from across the world.

FIFA requires that there should be an air port in every city that has a statium and that te country should have a smooth system of transportation. Ghana has 5 major airports which run through the major stadiums where the football matches are likely to played.

With all this said, I think my country is fit enough to host the next world cup.
