CONTEST #13: SCOUTING FOR A GAME-CHANGING PLAYER FOR MY LOCAL TEAM by preye2
Hello my lovely Steemians,
Let me start by thanking the "world of football" community for bringing wonderful ideas and contests for it's subscribers, it's really an amazing community and it remains my best Steemit community.
My local team had just reached the final of the inter-states competition, and luckily for us we have won the final match, and has been promoted to the top league of my country.
We are for sure happy that we have been promoted to the top league of the country but our fear is that we don't want to disappoint the country.
There is a saying that goes "To whom much is given, much is expected". Which means the country will be expecting to see what the newly promoted local team will bring to the table.
It is true that our performance are good enough. Nevertheless, we still need to be better. That is the reason I was instructed by the manager of the team, to scout for suitable players to fit in the positions that needs better performance.
The factors to be considered before setting out for this player is to know the positions that are not performing 100%. Or better still, look for player that will suit in a position that provides the assist to other who are eager to score goals.
My scouting will focused on a very good "Central Midfielder", because if you have a good Central Midfielder he can make the goals come in by giving wonderful assist, like the case of Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City, who gave 20 assists in one season.
We are really in need of a play maker but the challenge is that we are not financially okay, we are still growing in terms of money. To get a good Midfielder we need to have about £3m.
I am going to write to the management to seek for loan to buy a game changing Midfielder.
If the offer is rejected because the money is not enough for the player, we are going to either sell or loan some of our players because we are more than a full squad in the team. And I know the my team will reach the expected height and make the country proud.
